Yesterday was the first of what I hope will be an occasional series of programs about what's really wrong with the shidduch world and what needs to be done to fix it. The recording is available here.
We took a deep look at the dubious NASI Project, which you probably didn't know grifted over 3 million dollars from the Orthodox Jewish community...for promoting radical, failed ideas based on false pretenses.
We investigated where that money went.
We discussed the letter the founder of NASI got 70 rabbis to sign supporting his age gap theory, making big headlines at the time...and which mysteriously disappeared from the Internet and public consciousness since then.
I found it. View it and download it here...then let me know if they followed their own pronouncement when they married off their own sons. I'm serious. Look into this and let me know. We have a right to know. And we have a right to question them about their pronouncement, which aged very poorly and caused great damage to the Jewish people.
Did you know the founder of NASI urged the entire Jewish people to completely cease dating and even working on shidduchim for an entire month?
Did you know that even though NASI's arguments were debunked in the very media that runs their advertisements, they continue to grift, promote their radical ideas, prevent single women of marriageable age from beginning dating "for the greater good", and many "leading rabbis" continue to support these horrific things?
Has Klaus Schwab taken over the shidduch world?
I think it's time the Jews of Lakewood, Monsey, and other places most affected took a close look for themselves at who controls their lives, their children's lives, and whether this is really the Torah way...or even remotely acceptable.
You have an obligation to think for yourself, and a responsibility to your children to protect them from predators and scams.
