Trump Taunts Macron over French riots
Trump sides with protesters, noting their chants of 'We want Trump!' 'The Paris Agreement isn’t working out so well for Paris.’
Trump Tweets: “The Paris Agreement isn’t working out so well for Paris. Protests and riots all over France. People do not want to pay large sums of money, much to third world countries (that are questionably run), in order to maybe protect the environment. Chanting “We Want Trump!” Love France,” he tweeted. “Very sad day and night in Paris. Maybe it’s time to end the ridiculous and extremely expensive Paris Agreement and return money back to the people in the form of lower taxes? The U.S. was way ahead of the curve on that and the only major country where emissions went down last year!”
At least 126 rioters were injured in Paris on Saturday, at the end of the fourth week of the "Yellow Vest" riots. Some 125,000 people took part in protests across France on Saturday - about 10,000 of them in Paris, where the greatest damage was recorded. Cars were set on fire, shop windows were smashed and shops were looted. arutzsheva
