IDF Golani Brigade soldier Moshe Plesser will receive acknowledgement for his heroic act, the killing of a tractor terrorist in Yerushalayim last year, neutralizing an ongoing terror attack. At the time, Plesser was off duty but realized he was compelled to act to halt the terrorist, who was ramming innocent people and vehicles with a tractor on Jaffa Street. Plesser used a licensed weapon obtained from Oren Ben-Shimon, and the Egoz Unit soldier fired at the terrorist, neutralizing the situation.
Plesser received an award from the IDF Northern Commander, Major-General Gadi Eisenkott.
