Di Zahav

Was there such a place as Di Zahav?

I read the following over Shabbos in the Yated:

"Rashi explains that this term is an allusion to a place in which Klal Yisrael sinned. Di Zahav literally means, 'enough gold.' Moshe chastised the people saying, 'You became spoiled because you had so much gold, causing you to make the Golden Calf.'"

Erev Shabbos Devarim the frum community in Brooklyn (and Deal NJ) suffered a major trauma.

There is no such thing as 'coincidence'.
There is a message in everything that comes your way; it is up to you to find it.
