ICELAND:  Mesmerizing lava explosions at the crater on July 2. Volcano exhibits very strange and mind boggling behaviour. It had been still most of the day, then it started emitting tons of lava with continuous outflow for a few hours until about 2 am. After that it started those shivering and chaotic massive eruptions within 10-15 minutes intervals until it hibernated altogether after the sunrise at 3 am. Shortly before 4vam we saw enormous masses of smokes rising from the crater. Expedition no. 27. July 1 - July 2, 2021.
