The Two Types of Equinox
- Vernal (Spring) Equinox: Occurs around March 20–21. It marks the start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and the start of autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.
- Autumnal (Fall) Equinox: Occurs around September 22–23. It marks the start of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere and the start of spring in the Southern Hemisphere.
