Some words i read recently have not left me. It changes my understanding and outlook in many ways.
I am a Neshoma, not just a body of flesh, bones and sinews, and blood.
My Neshoma was sent down here for a specific purpose.
Sometimes it takes years and many experiences to realize this emmes and act upon this understanding.
WE ARE ALL NESHOMOS
When you look at a fellow Jew, peer into his/her eyes and acknowledge that Neshoma.
Like you, they too have a purpose here in our world of action.
We all need to realize this and stop reacting, responding to what we “see” but what is really before you.
You may read these words and think, “of course, i know that.”
Knowing and Internalizing are two different realities. Think about that. Think hard about it.
Now some of you may walk away from this.
And maybe one or two may come to your own realization.
That Neshoma is connected to Hashem “intrinsically”.
**********
"Intrinsically linked" means that two or more things are connected by their very nature. Their bond is natural, deep, and permanent. They are tied together because of what they are, not because of outside forces [0.5]. You cannot truly separate them. [google ai def.]
