Bnei Brak MIRACLE

 MIRACLE STORY FROM myrtlerising

The Deceased Rebbe of a Barely Existent Chassidus Today Protects His Great-Grandson in the Merit of Torah Learning and a Unique Sukkah Custom

[…]  Something you won't see in the secular press!

In one of the buildings directly damaged by a missile in the city of Bnei Brak [likely the not-yet-completely-religious Pardes Katz neighborhood], lived the great-grandson of the Rebbe of Grodnitza – a Chassidus that barely exists today after the Holocaust decimated most of its adherents.

According to the custom of the Chassidus of Grodnitza, one should refrain from dismantling the sukkah after Sukkos.

Instead, this great-grandson left it up every day of the year, only renewing the schach every Sukkos. Of course, this raised doubts and even suspicions about the laziness of the owner of the sukkah, but those who knew him and the custom knew it was a Grodnitzer tradition. In this way, the Rebbe's great-grandson, along with several other members of his family living outside of Eretz Yisrael, preserved this tradition.

On the night of the attack on Bnei Brak, the great-grandson sat in his room, bent over a Gemara, and did not even hear the siren warning of an oncoming missile. When his family members alerted him, he insisted on continuing to study. They knew him well enough to know he wouldn't budge from his learning, so there was no point on insisting he join them in the mamad [the specially reinforced room that serves as an in-home bomb shelter].

So they went into the mamad, closing the door behind them (which he could easily open from the outside, if he desired).

Suddenly, the great-grandson heard knocking coming from the sukkah.

This surprised him because nothing remained in sukkah at this time of year, except for a picture of his great-grandfather, the Rebbe. He entered the sukkah and saw the picture swaying and knocking against the wall of the sukkah.

Just as he approached to straighten it, a huge explosion occurred – which also destroyed the room he'd just exited after pausing in his learning to investigate the knocking sound.

His family members, who felt sure he'd been killed, burst out of the mamad in panic – only to find him coughing slightly from the dust.

If this is not a miracle, then tell me what is!

Spread it with all your might!!

Interesting also how this devoted learner did not hear the siren, but did hear the picture of his illustrious great-grandfather knocking against the wall of the sukkah.

Hashem decides everything – including what we hear and when we move.

SPECIAL GUEST POST: The Evil of Iran

Guest post from myrtle rising and Rav Itamar Schwartz on Iran

QUESTION

What’s the unique evil nature of Iran?

ANSWER

Iran is the kelipah (evil shell) to counter the holiness of the Aron (the Holy Ark).

The words are similar: Iran (אִירָן) versus Aron (אָרוֹן).

There were two holy Arks: one that was kept in the Holy of Holies, and one that would accompany the Jews in the generation of the Desert when they had to go out to war.

It was from the power of this Ark which enabled the Jewish People to fight their wars, as we read in parshas Behaaloscha, the week in which the war broke out:

“And as the Ark journeyed…and your enemies will be scattered and they will run away from before you.” (Behaalosecha 10: 35)

The war was fought from the power contained in the Broken Shards of the first pair of Luchos – understand this well.

The broken shards in the Luchos were a result of the sin with the Eigel (Golden Calf), and they represent the evil of being in a state of brokenness (shevirah).

The way to repair this damage is by applying this very evil of “brokenness” onto the evil itself – and especially on Iran.

As is known, the gematria of the words “Arur Haman - Baruch Mordechai” is equal to the word shever (the root of the word shevirah).

Iran’s evil is also mainly trying to oppose the internal Aron, of which it is said: “the Aron does not take up any measurement.” (Bava Basra 99a)

Iran wants, chas v’shalom, that there should not be any place for the Jewish people.

This is in line with the rule of Zeh l’umas zeh – the counterbalance between good and evil.

Therefore, the root of how to be saved is not simply by going into a protected place.

Rather, it is when we connect our souls to the space of the Aron, which did not take up any measurement/space.

This counters the evil of Iran, which wishes to destroy the Jewish people through nuclear bombs, which is the evil use of ayin (אַיִן) on two levels:

(1) It is a destructive power that originates from a tiny little atom that doesn’t take up any space, coming from almost nothing (ayin).

(2) Because of what they want to accomplish by wishing to destroy everything – to negate all existing life and turn everything into “nothing.”

As a hint to this, the word Iran (אִירָן) can be split into the words ayin-ra (אַיִן רָע), the evil use of ayin – of turning everything into nothing.

Our deep avodah is to transform “Iran” (אִירָן) into the word nira (נִירָא) [fear that uplifts and elevates you] – which is the power of holy ayin[Editor’s Note #1 below.]

On the seventh day of our war for survival, as I write these lines, I hear the sounds of our jets overhead, either flying to or returning from Iran.

May G–D keep them safe.

Yesterday morning, I participated in an unusual event

As I prepared for morning prayers in the large public bomb shelter, the sirens sounded.

At that moment, I was in the best place for body and soul.

Because it was a public shelter, we were joined by local families hurrying as the sirens wailed.

Early in the morning, families with young children, in pajamas, rushed down as they interspersed between the minyan.

I knew why they came, but from the looks on the faces of the children and some of the adults, it appeared that they were not sure what we were doing in our strange tefillin and prayer shawls.

One mother stared at us as if witnessing something strange if not exotic.

I assumed that the young mother was probably the product, like so many others of a secular Israeli education.

The secular education system does not teach our children Torah, prayer, and anything that is " too Jewish.".

I assumed that her wide-eyed children were receiving the same education.

I wondered what these young parents explain to their children as to why people want to kill them and force them into shelters.

Their intellectuals and political leaders did not explain that it is because we are Jews who dare to live in our promised land. That would have been too simplistic, primitive, messianic..

The left had sophisticated, intellectual explanations and solutions:

It's about the land that we colonials "took" from the "indigenous" natives in 1948 and 1967. It's about human rights and a willingness to be reasonable. It's about not seeing it as the Promised Land.

To rectify these wrongs and because they are kind, if naive, people, they employed Arabs from the "territories", brought them to Israeli hospitals for care, welcomed them to their homes, and commiserated with their losses when their terrorist relatives were eliminated by Israeli forces.

And then came October 7.

They were the primary victims of Arab hatred and barbarity, the ones who had invited them to their homes.

Generations of Leftist indoctrination and misplaced guilt crashed.

The results?

A good many are now seeking their Jewish identity.

A few double down and continue to blame fanatic, messianic Jews for Arab hate.

A few, in desperation, seek foreign passports to leave. Spain, Portugal, Germany, here I come (back) to be one of you. Good luck with that.

Our sages teach us that G–D's holy land spits out those not suited to it.

They flee as over 100,000 Jews stranded abroad try deperately to come home and kiss its soil upon arrival.

There is a historic demographic process underway

As I met the stare of the sweet young mother, I wondered how she explained the situation to her children and to herself.

I wondered how they and Am Yisrael would come out of this experience.

I am very optimistic.

Shlach - Finding Hashem in the Pause

What was at the root of the sin of the spies? Why do so many of the ego's wiles center around impatience? If Hashem gave atonement to the Jewish people for their crying over the fear of entering Israel, why did they all die in the wilderness? Should we be waiting for Moshiach, or demanding Moshiach now? What is the concept of waiting in the story of Yosef, where Yaakov waited to see how the dreams would unfold? Why did Hashem wait until Yom Kippur to forgive the Jewish people for the sin of the spies? What is the idea of waiting for 40 years in the wilderness, and how does that relate to finding Hashem in the pause, or in the waiting? What is the difference between Mind and Heart?

"You must blow a teru’ah with the trumpets." Silver Trumpets for Israel's Victory!

"You must blow a teru’ah with the trumpets." Silver Trumpets for Israel's Victory!

Israel is at war against an evil axis that seeks to plunge the civilized world into darkness. Thank G-d Israel's army and Israel's people are up to the task. But the Torah itself provides the ultimate weapon required for victory: "When you go to war in your land against an adversary who attacks you, you must blow a teru’ah with the trumpets and be remembered favorably before HaShem, your G-d, and thus be saved from your enemies." (Numbers 10:9) Hear the fascinating story of the Temple Institute's mission to produce and distribute silver trumpets to IDF battalions and brigades, to be sounded and deliver salvation.

Rising Lion!

It's not by chance that Israel has named its military operation over the skies of Iran, as what is translated into English as "Rising Lion." The phrase is taken directly from the words of the heathen prophet Bilaam, hired by Balak, the king of Moav, to curse the children of Israel:

"Behold, a people that rises like a lioness and raises itself like a lion. It does not lie down until it eats its prey and drinks the blood of the slain." (Numbers 23:24)

Balak had no pretext for hating Israel. He simply did not want them as his neighbor. Bilaam, hired to curse Israel, blessed them instead, and his prophecy morphed from a positive assessment of Israel, "How goodly are your tents..." (ibid 24:5) into a far reaching prophecy of a distant future, an end of days scenario, one which perfectly aligns with today's unfolding events.

All Parsha - Incredible Insights in the Ramban on Parshas Shelach

Rabbi Winston: Shlach

If only the spies had learned from Miriam, how speaking loshon hara is a bad thing. Perhaps they would have held their tongues and not spoken badly about Eretz Yisroel, and we wouldn’t still be waiting for Moshiach to come. Such a simple thing, so much consequence.

Then again, why should they have learned anything from Miriam regarding speaking badly about Eretz HaKodesh? Miriam and Aharon spoke loshon hara about a fellow human, and not just any fellow human, but the great Moshe Rabbeinu and Gadol HaDor. That’s serious, very serious. The spies spoke loshon hara about a land, so what comparison was there?

Instead, call them kafui tovah, deniers of good. G–D had blessed them with the gift of Eretz Yisroel and they were rejecting it. Being a kafui tovah was enough to get Adam HaRishon ejected from Paradise, so it ranks as a very bad thing to do. So maybe the lesson to be learned from Miriam was not just the sin of loshon hara about another sin, but actually what leads to it.

Last week’s parsha makes this point. Miriam’s point was that she was also a prophet and yet she was still home for dinner on time each night. Aharon was a prophet too and still did not fall short on any family duties. Why then should Moshe, their brother and fellow prophet?

G–D’s answer:

“Please listen to My words. If there be a prophet among you, I, G–D, will make Myself known to him in a vision; I will speak to him in a dream. This is not so with My servant Moshe; he is faithful throughout My household. With him I speak mouth to mouth; unambiguously, without riddles, so he can behold the image of G–D. So why were you not afraid to speak against My servant, against Moshe?” (Bamidbar 12:6-8)

In other words, G–D told them, “How can you compare yourselves to my great servant Moshe Rabbeinu? You spoke as if you are on par with him and you are so wrong. Had you considered his greatness versus your own, you would have never dared to speak out against your brother, even for a good reason!”

That is the root cause of loshon hara. It comes from a greater sense of ego than a person should have. That’s why the Torah pointed out in that Moshe was the humblest person in the world, even though it was not necessary to answer the question. Just explaining that Moshe was a higher level prophet than they were would have made the point. Mentioning his extreme humility was making a different point, that it was their lack of humility that prompted them to speak badly about the greatest prophet to have ever lived.

That’s what the spies should have learned from Miriam, how too big an ego and too great a sense of entitlement can distort your viewpoint and make you say things you really shouldn’t. It’s not that humble people don’t notice bad situations or the wrongdoings of others. But being humble and not considering themselves on par with the people they deem worthy of criticism, they approach it from a sense of right and wrong only.

Miriam used herself as the measuring stick to criticize her brother.

Moshe pointed out the flaws of others, but only on behalf of G–D and Torah.

In fact, had the spies not thought too highly of themselves and considered themselves entitled, they probably would have refused the mission just out of respect for G–D and Moshe Rabbeinu. And had the people not had their own sense of entitlement, they wouldn’t have asked to spy the land in the first place.

We’re not talking about giving up rights that the Torah gives you. We’re talking about the extra “rights” that you give yourself, that extra sense of importance you feel you have, whether you do or don’t. Greatness has a way of manifesting itself, without getting a boost from us. On the contrary, when we feel the need to let the world know how highly we think about ourselves, even subtly, it’s usually because we think we’re better than we are.

Ego and entitlement have plagued mankind from the beginning. It has bloated personalities that have led to incredible destruction. It distorts a person’s sense of truth and then the world’s. Today, it is probably the number one cause of most of what’s wrong with the world. So many causes are being fought for, not because they are based on objective truth, but based on personal truths built upon bloated egos and a false sense of entitlement.

The problem is, it is hard to show people who think like this that they think like this. Usually, it takes the harsh reality of the consequences of their mistaken thinking to do that, as was the case of the spies. All of a sudden, once G–D stepped in and set things straight, they immediately changed tracks and tried to right their wrong. But, as is so often the case, it was too little, too late. And as the world seems to inch in a similar direction, you have to wonder if waking up is possible before reality does it for us.

Rabbi Weissman: Simple Torah Truth......

Simple Torah Truth vs. Obvious Lies From Snakes

Lots more information and common sense

Here is the "Jewish" state's formula for protection in a time of danger:

  • Close the shuls
  • Close the yeshivas
  • Desecrate Shabbos
  • Do not assemble
  • Do not travel
  • Do not sleep
  • Live in a constant state of fear
  • Frequently run in panic to a room that is supposed to keep you safe
  • Do not think at all for yourself, just follow orders
  • Do not earn a living
  • Do not visit your elderly parents
  • Do not date and get married
  • Stay huddled in a "safe room" and watch the "news".

In sum, less davening, less Torah learning, less Shabbos, less mitzvah observance, less healthy living, and more actions that harm us physically, spiritually, and psychologically is the "Jewish" state's formula for protection in a time of danger.

They are Amalek. They are the yetzer hara. They are the snake.

It is a spiritual war for your soul, which precedes the physical war to destroy whatever is left of your body.

The very term “safe room” is kefira

V'nishmartem me'od l'nafshoseichem! We have to do whatever we can to protect lives! That’s being fed to generally ignornant but more Torah-minded Jews.

When did we hear that before ad nauseum, as the Torah was reduced to an all-encompassing sound bite? With the accursed masks. So-called "safe rooms" — the very term is kefira — have a lot in common with masks (covid shots too, but we'll stick to masks for now).

Masks offer slight additional protection in a very specific set of circumstances: primarily, someone spitting in your face. But they also cause a great deal of guaranteed harm.

Safe rooms offer slight additional protection in a very specific circumstance: a ballistic missile strikes your home just so. In other highly plausible circumstances, a "safe room" is a death trap. In all cases, running to them all the time causes a great deal of guaranteed harm.

So there is a marginal chance they will offer additional protection in a very limited circumstance that is unlikely to happen to any particular individual, but they are guaranteed to cause serious physical, psychological, spiritual, and societal damage to the masses.

Hence, V'nishmartem me'od l'nafshoseichem does not support these "protective" measures, which cause great guaranteed harm with only a speculative benefit in limited circumstances that will most likely not happen to you.

This a clear, sensible Torah perspective. I'm planning on getting a good, uninterrupted night of sleep, and living my days to the fullest. You do whatever you want

If an "Iranian missile", or an Iron Dome missile that had an oopsie, took out the Knesset, the Defense Ministry, and the Health Ministry, with all our brave leaders actually present for work at the time, what would be your reaction?

a) It's a tremendous national tragedy.

b) It's a great loss to the Jewish people that should be mourned like we mourn on Tisha B'Av.

c) How will we ever replace them?

d) It's a case of bad things happening to good people.

e) It's divine justice.

f) Thank God we're rid of them.

If you answered "e" or "f", why do you trust these same people with your safety and wellbeing, put your life in their hands (IDF servants) and reflexively follow their instructions to "keep you safe"?

This is a serious question, and people who answer "e" and "f" must be able to offer a serious, thoughtful response.

“Expect war lockdowns and heightened censorship for your safety. Do not trust the people who are supposed to be "protecting" you. They are your worst enemies.”

I posted that on October 7, 2023 at 10:50 PM. We're almost there

Funny how Israel is supposedly taking out all these top targets in Iran, but "Iranian missiles" are striking only the peasant class. Reminds me of those "wildfires" in Maui. The elites sure are lucky

Funny how our brave leaders are going around freely with camera crews for photo-ops from disaster areas to warn us to stay in “safe rooms”, far from anywhere safe they could run. I guess “Iranian missiles” and Iron Dome “misfires” don’t strike the same place twice…

If/when the state has lots of uniformed goons making sure people stay in their "safe rooms" indefinitely, brutally beating those who stray outside approved areas, with no apparent concern that THEY will be struck by incoming missiles, remember this image from Har Habayis while a siren sounded.

Translation: The state has taken away the right to flee from its citizens. The government is seriously violating our freedom of movement, and has taken away our basic right to leave without risking death. Instead, it is taking over our cell phones, forcing us to go into panic mode 3 times a night, and turning every citizen into a patriot by order from above.

Source: https://www.calcalist.co.il/local_news/article/rjp72w3xee

Check out these photos (a very small sampling of what’s available on social media from regular Israeli citizens on the ground):

Israeli attorney comments (translation):

A missile remnant weighing an estimated 300 kg, after free falling from a height (say 600 meters) at a (minimum) fall speed of 60 km/h, creates an impact product of tons (even dozens) upon contact with the ground.

Source: https://www.facebook.com/ywsy.bytwn.61804/posts/9697805490342290?ref=embed_post

Whatever this thing is, it was neatly placed there, then removed for the next photo-op.

Yes, real missiles are being fired by someone and causing real damage, but everything else about the official narrative is a lie. The state is not trying to protect you. The state is trying to control you and advance the globalist agenda for which its puppet leaders were placed into their respective positions.

Meanwhile, the state is working to prevent citizens from sharing photos and videos such as these, officially to keep Iran from using it to their advantage. The state wants control what you are allowed to see, for reasons that should be obvious.

The Erev Rav and Amalek are waging war on you

Are you checking the "news" more than usual, or hardly at all?

Are you doing teshuva, davening, and learning Torah more than usual, while tuning out distractions, or hardly at all?

You can't do both. They conflict. You need to choose.

That's the war in a nutshell. The outcome will be determined by your reaction.
