The reservists who were detained Monday for questioning for alleged abuse of a Nukhba terrorist at the Sde Teiman military detention center at first refused to go quietly with military police investigators. A police negotiation force was called in, and in the end the soldiers went with investigators to undergo questioning at the military base in Beit Lid.

Dozens of protesters arrived at the gates of the Sde Teiman base after the reservists had already left, and the police present in the area did not believe that they would break into the base. Because of this, the police did not have large enough forces at the entrance to the base, which could have prevented the crowd from breaking in to the center.

Immediately after the break-in, forces from Yasam, the Israel Police Special Patrol Unit, were sent to the base, in order to help evacuate the protesters. After police spoke with a leader of the protestors, they left the gates of the base of their own accord. There is still fear, however, of renewed protests in the coming days in front of the base, or an attempt to break in and reach the Nukhba terrorists who are being held there.

In addition to civilian protesters, Knesset lawmakers and government ministers were among the protesters who breached the gates of the facility, even taking selfies of themselves inside the base. No protesters have been detained or investigated on suspicion of breaking into an IDF base, which is against he law.

Over the past two weeks, Knesset lawmakers have protested the handling by the military prosecutor's office, headed by Major General Yifat Tomer Yerushalmi, of investigations into the conduct of soldiers. Last week, at a hearing in the Constitutional Committee on the question of the investigation of civilians suspected of murdering a Nukhba terrorist, members of Knesset slammed State Attorney Amit Isman and called for his resignation over the issue. On Monday, immediately after learning about the detention of the reserve soldiers, chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee Yuli Edelstein ordered to "summon her" for an emergency discussion in the committee.

Communications Minister Shlomo Karai directly referred to the law in his speech in the Knesset plenum last week, saying that "it prohibits IDF soldiers from eliminating Hamas policemen and Hamas personnel. Talk to IDF soldiers, who say they are prohibited from shooting at terrorists on aid trucks."

Demonstrators who arrived at Sde Teiman on Monday afternoon broke though its gates, accompanied by Knesset members. 

In less than two hours later, members of the Knesset were already seen participating in the stormy demonstrations at the entrance to the military base in the south where the terrorists are being held.  Knesset lawmaker Zvi Sukkot of the religious Zionist Party led by Bezalel Smotrich was filmed entering the base without permission through a breach in the fence. Later, he was recorded calling on the protesters not to confront the soldiers there. “We have no other army, this is an important demonstration, let’s go outside and not fight with the soldiers,” he said. 

Other lawmakers filmed inside the base include Nissim Vaturi, Almog Cohen and Limor Son-Har. 

Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir offered his support to the detained soldiers, calling on military police to "take their hands off the reservists." And, he added, "soldiers should get our full backing." Ben-Gvir did not speak to the protesters around the base at all - and did not try to calm them either. Minister of Immigration and Absorption Ofir Sofer claimed that "the conduct of the prosecutor's office toward the reservists during the war is unacceptable. The reservists, who these days are serving an unprecedented number of reserve days, are entitled to fair and honorable treatment. It is forbidden under any circumstances to turn the IDF bases into areas of conflict or protest. The IDF must be completely removed from the political arena, no matter how justified the protest."

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also wrote a message on the X network to the military police: "Take your hands off the fighters, our heroes," and only late in the evening called on protesters not to break into the bases.

The situation soon deteriorated in Beit Lid, where the soldiers were taken for questioning. At the same time as protests were taking place in Sde Teiman, Knesset member Tali Gottlieb arrived at a protest in Beit Lid, near the base, where she was recorded speaking on a truck with masked armed men wearing uniforms standing next to it. 

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as well as Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and President Isaac Herzog, waited many hours before publishing condemnations of what happened in Sde Teiman. Gallant, later, called on the police to intervene in evacuating the protesters from Beit Lid. Netanyahu issued one statement calling on the protesters to back down. In the evening, Smotrich expressed support for the protest, but called to avoid breaking into the bases.

Knesset lawmaker Zvi Sukkot of the religious Zionist Party  commented on his conduct throughout the day, telling Ynet that "It was certainly appropriate to let me enter the Sde Teiman camp - by virtue of my position as a Knesset member with immunity. My role is to supervise the executive authority." According to him, "During a busy day of discussions in the Knesset committees, I heard and saw the videos from Sde Teiman, and I immediately drove toward the base. In my office, we did not go on vacation. I will continue to carry out my public mission wherever I am required."

Lawmaker Son Har-Melech, who attended the protest referred to the accusations against the soldiers who were investigated , saying: "The one who should stand trial today is the military police who arrested the best of our fighters with false claims, and by its actions is helping the enemy and weakening the strength of our soldiers."

Vaturi said that once he arrived at the protest at Sde Teiman, he spoke with the commander of the Negev region who asked for his help, and then began to assist in evacuate protesters and calming things down.   

"I wasn't present at the base break-in, I was on the other side of the demonstration and I didn't see anything related to that," he stressed. "But the essence here is not what is done with the base, the essence is a violent, illegal arrest reminiscent of dark regimes against our best fighters who are sent to carry out the mission that no one wants to carry out."

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi visited troops at the Beit Lid base on Monday night, following the large break-in at the base to protest the questioning of the reservists. He said such protests harm the military,

A rebellion broke out on Monday when Israelis, including many MKS and ministers, forcibly broke through the gates of the Sde Teiman detention facility after Military Police arrested nine reservists for allegedly abusing a Nukhba terrorist.

The IDF confirmed that an investigation was opened against soldiers for the alleged abuse of Hamas terrorists held at the Sde Teimen facility.

Nothing seems to have changed in the IDF, with its leadership still deeply immersed in the pre-October 7 conceptzia – as is evident by a statement made by IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari on Motzei Shabbos which caused a storm of outrage among the Israeli public.

HAGARI “We didn’t know that Hezbollah planned to fire here. We had no such intelligence. No one thought that a murderous terrorist organization would fire at a soccer field where children and teens were playing – no one imagined such a thing.”

Journalist Yishay Shnerb wrote: “Perhaps we simply need to establish an ‘imaginary army’ whose task will be to imagine all the far-fetched scenarios that have never happened, such as terrorist organizations engaging in terrorist activities, uncontrolled borders through which weapons are smuggled, and the imaginary possibility that the enemy is actually not deterred.”

The right-wing Toras Lechimah organization responded: “In a little while, Daniel Hagari will chalilah say: ‘No one imagined that terror organizations would enter Kfar Saba and massacre women and children.’  Because with the progressive mental illness of the current blind and deaf senior IDF officers, that could happen, chalilah. We need to boot them out and replace them – now!”

Reb Ginsbourg — The Righteous Daughters of Zelophehad

Their love for the land was palpable. Even their timing was perfect. A look at the different ways our commentators described the daughters' viewpoint.

The Torah, in our Parasha (Pinchas), relates ( 26:52 ) that ‘Hashem spoke to Moshe, saying: ’To these shall the Land be divided as an inheritance, according to the number of names..( 26:56 ) Only by lot shall the Land be divided, according to the names of their fathers’ tribe shall they inherit.’

Upon hearing this decree, ( 27:1-7 ):’The’ four ‘daughters of Zelophehad , son of Hepher, son of Machir, son of Menashe, son of Yosef, drew near..and they stood before Moshe, before Elazar the Kohen, and before the leaders and the entire assembly at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, saying:’Our father died in the Wilderness, but he was not among the assembly of Korach, but he died of his own sin, and he had no sons. Why should the name of our father be omitted from among his family because he had no sons? Give us a possession among our father’s brothers’. And Moshe brought their claim before Hashem.

‘Hashem said to Moshe, saying: The daughters of Tzelophehad speak properly. You shall surely give them a possession of inheritance of their father to pass over to them.’

Rashi comments on the unusually lengthy listing of the genealogy of the claimants, all the way back to Yosef :’Why is this said? Has it not already said, ‘the son of Menashe’, who we know to have been the son of Yosef.

‘But to inform you that Yosef cherished the Land’, as he directed that his bones be brought there, for burial, ‘and’ these four daughters similarly ‘cherished the Land, as it says:’Give us a portion’’, in our Parasha.

The Malbim adds:’This comes to teach that the women of that generation were more righteous than the men - the men said: (Shelach 14:4 )’Let us appoint a leader and return to Egypt’, whilst the women said:’Give us a possession among our father’s brothers, in the Land.

Continues the Malbim:’ The Torah relates their being ‘of the families of Menashe, son of Yosef’, to allude to one half of the tribe having chosen as their inheritance land on the other side of the Jordan River, as that half did not cherish the Land, whereas the lineage of the four daughters is traced back by the Torah to Yosef, they cherishing the Land as he had, he forswearing his brothers not to bury him in Egypt, but to inter his bones in the Land.’

The Netziv finds an allusion to this split in their tribe, in the words ‘among our father’s brothers’, expounding:’These words are superfluous, as what relevance to their claim is there to their uncles? But they mentioned it because half their tribe had chosen not to enter the Land, but to settle on the other side of the Jordan River, but their yearning was to inherit in the Land ‘among our father’s brothers’, and not among the brothers of their father’s father, Hefer, as our Rashi explains.

‘Here we ask: what proof is this, did they have a thought to return to Egypt? What is new in their claim for an inheritance in the Land?

‘The proof is that their claim was for an inheritance in the Land which had not yet been conquered, and not in the land east of the River, which had already been conquered, proving that they cherished the Land of Israel.’

Rav Moshe Sternbuch also notes that the daughters claimed their inheritance before the Land had yet been conquered, as the question of the share in the Land was far from the minds and the hearts of the men, whilst they were still in the desert.

‘The daughters, as evidenced by their claim for a share, had complete Emunah in the promise of Hashem, and, in their eyes, the Land was already as if conquered- and therefore made their claim to Moshe:’Give us a possession..’

‘

They thereby merited to be a lesson to the men in their Emunah.’

Rav Zalman Sorotzkin also stresses the issue of Emunah, in contrasting the attitudes of the daughters, as against that of the men.

He expounds:’ The Torah notes in several instances, the fear of the men from the local inhabitants,, they even taking five steps back to Egypt, before the Leviim fought them, and forced them to return.

‘Even after Moshe has defeated the two mighty kings of the Emorites, Bnei Israel were still fearful of the Canaanites who then inhabited the Land, as evidenced by the plea of the tribes of Reuben and Gad to Moshe, to be given the lands of Sichon and Og, and not be compelled ‘to cross the Jordan’.

‘As the Torah relates, Moshe rebuked them for going in the path of the meraglim, and causing the rest of the people to say that their claim suggested that they were afraid to do battle with the Canaanites, and therefore sought their share east of the River.

‘The righteous daughters, who clearly must have heard the dire words of the men on these occasions, made their claim to Moshe before the Land was conquered, and before any man demanded a share in it, thereby proving that they cherished the Land, and, as our Sages ( Tanchuma ) praise them, for ‘drawing near to claim a portion’, before any man did so, as alluded to the Torah stating ותקרבנה: and they drew near: they preceded - not merely saying:’they claimed a portion’.’

Rav Chaim Shmuelewitz contrasts the attitudes of the men, as compared to that of the women, regarding the Land, noting:’The women were not subject to the decree against the meraglim, because, as Rashi comments they cherished the Land.

‘The menhad rebelled, demanding to return to Egypt, unlike the women, as evidenced by the daughters, who yearned for ‘a possession among our father’s brothers’.

‘Our Sages therefore deduced that the claim of the daughters was not purely a property claim, but sprung from their love of the Land.

‘They therefore merited to enter the Land, and to be spared from the fate of the meraglim, which was because they despised the Land, and did not want it.

‘This might also be the reason why the sin of the golden calf was forgiven, whilst the sin of the meraglim was not, and that whole generation perished in the desert, because their transgression was that they ‘bad-mouthed’ the Land and did not want it, so therefore forgiveness was not appropriate, as they showed that they are not connected to the Land, and certainly were not worthy to enter it.’

Rav Moshe Feinstein brings our Rashi, “that the Torah refers to the lineage to Yosef, to allude to the daughters cherishing the Land, just as Yosef did.’

The Rav queries the proof, commenting:’There is no proof from this that their claim was not for property, rather than that they cherished the Land.

‘They would surely have entered the Land even if they were not to receive a portion, so this would not a reason to claim a portion.

‘We have to therefore say, that when one cherishes something, he yearns to make it his, rather than someone else’s, even though he can enjoy it when it belongs to someone else.

‘The Torah testifies that because they cherished the Land, they wanted and claimed that they be given a portion, so that it should be theirs.

‘For this reason, the Torah obliges us to have our own Sefer Torah, and holy tomes, and not be satisfied to borrow these from others, as for the love of the mitzvah of engaging in learning Torah, these need to be one’s own.

‘Might we not think that it would be more praise of the daughters, if they, of their own accord - rather than what they learned from their ancestors - they cherished the Land? ‘From the Torah here, we learn that this is not the case, but it is more praiseworthy to do so because we learned this from our ancestors.

‘The reason is that one who does a laudable thing ‘from himself’, may become haughty and prideful as to ‘his’ great deed; not so one who does the same laudable deed because he learned it from his ancestors, and whose simcha in the mitzvah is pure leshem mitzvah.’

Rav Shimshon Raphael Hirsch comments on the long geneology in our Parasha:’This reference to family branches is especially noted with regards ti the tribe of Menashe, where we find that Machir, Gilad and Hefer - the son, the grandson and the great-grandson - all created branches of the family, for themselves, and this though the tribe of Menashe was itself a branch of the tribe of Yosef.’

Might I venture to say that this stemmed from their ancestor having been passed over, in favor of his younger brother, Ephraim, by Yaakov in Parashat Vayechi, leading them to strive to emphasize their identity and position.

Continues the Rav:‘This ‘separate-ness’ of the tribe, also pours light on the claim of the daughters:’Why should the name of our father be omitted from among his family?’

‘Their claim has at its root a deeper meaning than a simple property claim: the father, the grandfather and the great-grandfather each created for themselves families, and their names will continue to live in their descendants - in the special portions that will be given to them when the Land is divided to families.

‘At that time, the name of Zelophehad’, claimed his daughters, ‘already in the second generation, will be obliterated, and his name will no longer be remembered.’

This theme of continuity, is developed at length, by Rav Chaim Friedlander, in a masterful exposition.

Expounds the Rav:’The purity of the yearning of the daughters is proven by they meriting to have a Parasha revealed by them; their yearning was for the spiritual root of their avodat Hashem.

‘Yet - we ask - on the face of things, their claim was for an inheritance, that their father’s portion not be lost, but be given to them.

‘From the praise lavished on them by our Sages, it is clear that this is not the case.

‘Their wisdom - for which our Sages praised them - was that they chose the propitious moment to make their claim - the subject of the inheritance of their father’s portion was on their mind for forty years, during all of which the people knew that they were destined to enter the Land, yet they waited till now - in the fortieth year to make their claim, and at the very moment that Moshe Rabbeinu was expounding the laws of levirate marriage, to the people, which included the issue of maintaining the name of the deceased, including taking over his portion.

‘The relevance of this exposition to their claim - as Rav Dessler points out - is that the underlying purpose of the inheritance of a son inheriting his father’s portion - and of the levirate marriage - is to continue the avodat Hashem of the deceased, for which purpose is given, not only the father’s physical means, but also the spiritual qualities to do so.

‘The wise daughters argued before Moshe, that there was a need for the continuation of their deceased father’s avodat Hashem, an essential ingredient of which was the inheritance of his portion in the Land, as each portion in the Land was given to accord to that person’s role in serving Hashem.

‘This was the root of their claim: to inherit the portion of the Land, so that they could continue the avodat Hashem of their father - not for any base property gain.’

Everything Hashem does is for the good. Just sometimes it’s difficult to see it. We’re living in a time where it’s very difficult to see that everything Hashem is doing for the Jewish People leading to a day of great light. 

 

Expose the Agenda

 

If Israel's regime was capable of perpetrating a merciless expulsion of ten-thousand innocent Jews from Gush Katif in 2005 for the sake of some "greater good," what else are they capable of?

Hmm... let's think: 

• Might they be capable of, say, sacrificing the lives of tens of thousands of innocent Jews by forcing them to submit to a cruel medical procedure -- lethal mRNA injections -- for the sake of some "greater good?"

• Are they capable of unjustly locking people in their homes, shutting down yeshivas and synagogues, subjecting them to extraordinary surveillance, mask mandate, nasal rape, and "vax-passport" apartheid, all based on fear mongering and conjecture but with no empirical evidence of actual risk or benefit, all for the sake of some "greater good?"

• Could they potentially fund, arm, and maintain a terrorist mafia of genocidal jihadists that builds terror tunnels and artillery launching sites deliberately inside civilian centers, for the sake of some "greater good?”

• Any chance they might be capable of opening the border and inviting those same genocidal jihadists to commit eight hours of unrestrained slaughter, torture, rape, and abduction on thousands of innocent Jews, for the sake of some "greater good?"

• Would they ever expose thousands of young unsuspecting IDF soldiers to death, injury, lifelong handicap, trauma, etc., in a recklessly unnecessary and counterproductive prolonged ground battle, all for the sake of some "greater good?"

Yes, they’re sadly capable of all the above. They've demonstrated it already, repeatedly and unrepentantly, ועוד ידם נטויה.

The question we need to ask is, what else is this regime capable of?

• Is it capable of orchestrating false-flag psyops that wreak death, terror, and trauma on its own population for the sake of a "greater good?"

• Could it conceivably start fires or other devastation in order to displace Jews and herd them into 15-minute cities, for the sake of that "greater good?"

• Might it ever collaborate with jihadists to the north and its Iranian backers -- just as it does with the jihadists it funds in Gaza -- and start new bloody wars in order to sacrifice more Jewish lives, all for that "greater good?"

None of these possibilities are too far-fetched given what we've seen already.

However, there's no need to speculate.

The key to answering all the above is by addressing a basic underlying question:

Is this regime capable of committing "depopulation" on any number of Jews for the sake of an alleged "greater good" like "carbon reduction" or some other undisclosed reason?

And the answer is categorically YES. Under the leadership of "right-wing" Prime Minister Itshak Shamir, the regime already signed on to the NWO "depopulation" agenda back in 1992. This sociopathic behavior is nothing new and shouldn't come a a surprise.

Israel's regime already committed to the "depopulation" agenda. We just didn't understand what this vague term meant. Now we understand.

"Depopulation" has an active connotation. It's not just about encouraging birth control.

"Depopulation" can mean lots of things, including (but not limited to):

• induced mass suicide by lethal injection disguised as a vaccine

• induced mass sterilization by vaccines or other pharmaceutical products

• democide by jihadist proxy

• induced mass deaths by inconspicuous technologies like 5G, aerial spraying, poisoned tap water or tainted food supply

Yes, "depopulation" has endless possibilities. There is no limit to what this depopulationist regime is capable of.

And if it's willing to depopulate one Jew for a "greater good," then there's no saying it wouldn't be prepared to commit "depopulation" on all six million Jews living in the Holy Land.

Hmm... depopulation of six million for the sake of a "greater good"… Where have we seen that before? Can you say déjà vu?

 On Shabbos morning a soldier who was injured in Gaza was invited to share his story after davening. He is a young married man.

He recounted that his unit was given a mission to conquer two buildings that were believed to belong to Hamas. One was a one-story building, like a villa, and next to it was a three-story building. The plan was to capture the smaller building first and then use it as cover to attack the larger building. First they would open fire with light weapons. Then they would fire something that makes a “boom” and causes the building to shake, causing any explosives inside to detonate. Then they would move in and capture the building.

The soldier said he was most worried about RPG's and snipers shooting at his unit from a distance when they were exposed.

Why wouldn't they just blow up the buildings from the air or from a distance and be done with it, without jeopardizing soldiers?

It seems the idea didn't even occur to anyone.

Did they really believe hostages were inside? Did they really believe such valuable intelligence would be lost that it was worth sacrificing soldiers' bodies and lives, and destroying their families, to preserve the buildings?

Soldiers are not allowed to ask these questions, unless they want to be hauled off to military prison and persecuted by the state they are “serving”. Better to play Russian Roulette with death traps. Better to believe your commanding officers are really on your side, not traitors, foreign agents, and useful idiots. Better not to think about it at all.

When they fired the “boom” the building went up in flames, so they wouldn't be able to use it as cover, and were forced to change their plans. They would have to go after the second building on foot under much greater exposure. God forbid they just destroyed that building too. Preserving buildings in Gaza is more important than preserving Jewish cannon fodder.

While this soldier moved in, his friend next to him cried out that he was shot. The soldier turned to look, and this saved his life. No, his ear wasn't grazed in just the perfect way to get an iconic photo without causing any damage like we're supposed to believe about some menuval. He was shot twice and suffered serious injuries – but because his body was at an angle, both bullets went through his flesh and out the other side, instead of hitting internal organs. He was shot in the shoulder and the thigh area.

He went down and was bleeding heavily. His commander told him to get up and go, and he said he couldn't, he was shot. Apparently the protocol in such situations is for the IDF to hold their fire lest they shoot their own, so they have to evacuate the wounded without cover (make it make sense). His friends managed to drag him and the other soldier back 15-20 meters under fire, until they had cover behind something the size of a table, and were able to get treated by medics.

Another soldier had a bullet go right through his helmet, in one side and out the other, without touching him.

The soldier related that he was evacuated to Sha'arei Tzedek Hospital by an American helicopter that was located at an American camp nearby. He said he will need a few months to fully recover from his injuries, but, thank God, he didn't suffer any irreversible damage. He rightfully gave credit to Hashem for the many miracles that saved him that day, and the people in the shul applauded.

Of course, no one asked what the heck the *American military is doing there. They certainly didn't posit that the Americans are there to oversee the staged conflict, and work with both sides to lead God-fearing Jewish soldiers into carefully designed death traps under the pretext of important missions.

The conclusion we were supposed to draw from the story is that Hashem is doing miracles for us – and He is! But we have no right, let alone an obligation, to let our enemies lead us into gas chambers and ovens, and hope the death traps malfunction. How many more sacrifices until enough people wake up?

It's nearly ten months since October 7.  We were told by the people who don't want to give answers that it's not the time to ask questions.  No one responsible for the massacre has been arrested, interrogated, persecuted, and prosecuted.  Now is not the time.  They're too busy fighting a war to protect us and can't be disturbed.  We'll deal with it later. Maybe in 100 years.  Maybe not.  Whatever.  It's not urgent.

Dozens of IDF soldiers who killed terrorists on October 7 and prevented the massacre from being even worse have been arrested, interrogated, persecuted, and prosecuted.  Many of them were literally pulled off the battlefield in Gaza for this purpose.  Now is the time.  It couldn't wait. [emphasis me]

Make it make sense.

Maybe the Druze will do what the Jews are too foolish and cowardly to do.

*maybe on the lookout that the soldiers were using 1960 weaponry, wearing inadequate uniforms, boots etc., and receiving conflicting IDF orders from superiors, i.e. “fighting" CONFORMING TO US STANDARDS? What a disgrace.
