What occurred in New York State against the Religious Ed System has come to Israel …….but first an interesting story

EMPTY SCHOOLS:  Great Christmas Boycott of 1906 in New York City, where Jewish parents, protesting sectarian Christian practices in public schools (like Christmas pageants and hymns), kept their children home, leading to empty schools as a powerful form of protest against forced Christianization and for religious freedom. The protest, sparked by a principal's exhortations for Jewish children to "be like Christ," resulted in mass absences and established a precedent for Jewish civic activism.

CORE CURRICULUM SHMAD

The High Court of (In)Justice on Friday ordered the state to provide information on core curriculum studies and oversight in the ultra-Orthodox school system in light of petitions challenging the recent transfer of funds to religious schools by the Finance Ministry without the required deliberations and vote legally required in the Knesset Finance Committee.

In its ruling, the court instructed the Education Ministry to submit information detailing what core subjects, such as math, science and English, ultra-Orthodox institutions are required to teach to receive funding. The information must also detail how those conditions differ from those required of state schools, and the process for determining how much of the curriculum is being taught.

The state must also provide details regarding the training of teachers who teach core subjects in Haredi institutions, and student participation in external exams. These include the Meitzav exam, administered to fifth- and eighth-graders in Israeli schools, which tests language, math and science skills, and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development’s Program for International Student Assessment study, which tests the abilities of 15-year-olds in 81 countries, including Israel, which has participated in the study since 2002.[…] Wikipedia.

THEY JUST DONT GET IT! 

Their core curriculum education is fine for Hungary, Greece, Turkey, America, Venezuala, Brazil, and China and the rest of the world. But spells the end of the Jewish Nation and Jewish Istaelis in particular. Without Jewish education, teaching who we are as a People, our history, and the big WHY we are Jews, there is no future to life on Earth. 

That means we all disappear and no more civilization. Whether we like it or not, secularization of Jewish life (no acceptance of God as our Creator, and the Torah as our way of life) means there is no need for life on earth to continue. 

How much venom are they going to spout before realizing it will be the end their lives as they know it.
