Hashem created the measles to be experienced in childhood, to create later in life protection of far more gripping diseases.
Adults born in the U.S. before 1957 are presumed to have had measles as a child and therefore to be immune.
Current evidence suggests that immunity after the disease is life-long, whereas the response after two doses of measles-containing vaccine declines within 10–15 years.
This looks like possibly a strain of weaponized measles possibly reintroduced into childhood preventative vaccinations?
