HOT PUBLIC SHOUTING MATCH BEGINS

Ben Gvir and Smotrich Demand a Stop to ‘Feeding the Monster’

Ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich are demanding that PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet reexamine the idea of stopping or reducing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, in light of the IDF spokesman’s revelation Tuesday night that Hamas steals part of the humanitarian aid that enters the Gaza Strip through Egypt.

Despite clear evidence that humanitarian aid is reaching Hamas, Israel has not kept its earlier commitment to halt aid in the event of such deliveries. Hamas steals humanitarian aid trucks just as they cross into Gaza from Egypt.

Ben Gvir and Smotrich claim that “on the one hand we fight against the monster and on the other hand we feed it.” Nevertheless, the political and security echelon insists that letting humanitarian aid into Gaza is a condition for receiving US support, both militarily and politically.

Kan11 News cited a senior American official who said the reports about Hamas stealing the aid are worrying, but the situation in Gaza is too difficult to stop the flow of aid. The official added that “Efforts are being made to reduce Hamas’s ability to steal aid.” [maybe he means that the "innocent gazans" preempt the terrorists and steal the stuff before they get to it??? Well, why not let them do the stealing?]

Gaza Strip residents have been complaining about the unjust distribution of humanitarian aid, pointing out that Hamas steals several aid trucks every day, which creates resentment among the residents.

Netanyahu Accuses Turkish President of Committing Genocide Against the Kurds in Response to Hitler Comparison

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday afternoon issued a statement in response to comments made by Turkish President Recap Erdogan who compared Netanyahu to Hitler.

“Erdogan,” said Netanyahu, “who is committing genocide against the Kurds and who holds the world record for imprisoning journalists who oppose his regime, is the last person who can preach morality to us.”

Netanyahu also defended the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) from attacks calling it “the most moral army in the world,” and saying that it is “fighting to eliminate the most abhorrent and brutal terrorist organization in the world, Hamas-ISIS, which has committed crimes against humanity, and which Erdogan has praised and whose leaders he hosts.”

While speaking in public Erdogan compared Israel’s war in Gaza to the murder of Jews during the Holocaust, saying that what is happening is “worse than Hitler” and that “What Netanyahu is doing [in Gaza] is no less than what Hitler did.”
