The Land is MINE ...

We Are Servants of Hashem

As in days of old. During our Shabbos Seuda, the words of the Parsha leapt from the pages and rang in my ears and jolted my neshoma.

In every place where there is a reference to Hashem owning the Land of Eretz Yisrael, and every reference to Hashem giving over the Land as an inheritance to his Children (of Israel), and every place that discusses the descendants of Yaakov and the Land of Eretz Yisrael should be gathered into a proclamation and presented to the UN, the US, the EU, and all major newspapers in the world, that once and for all THIS LAND, OUR INHERITANCE FROM HASHEM, IS OURS.

Who is going to stand up and do this? Can we the little people create a media blitz to make it clear once and for all that THIS LAND IS OURS and we are going to live here, build here, give birth here, and bring redemption to the world by doing so.

I am so tired of the same merry-go-round of politicians dancing to and fro, holding meeting after meeting, getting nowhere.

Why isn't there one JEW in the entire world who could stand up and announce once and for all ...

Hashem told Yirmiyahu to buy Land in Eretz Yisrael ... to redeem the Land ... and this was with the knowledge that the Temple was going to be destroyed. Redeem the Land.

Parshas Behar (25:23) - Redemption of the Land

"The Land shall not be sold in perpetuity, for the Land is Mine; for you are sojourners and residents with Me. In the entire land of your ancestral heritage you shall provide redemption for the Land.

..."For the Children of Israel are servants to Me, they are My servants, whom I have taken out of the land of Egypt -- I am Hashem, your G-d."

Haftaras Behar - Yirmiyahu (Jeremiah) 32:6-8

"Behold! ... Hanamel, son of Shallum your uncle, is coming to you to say 'Buy for yourself my field that is in Anasoth, for the right of redemption is yours.' ... And I knew that it was the word of Hashem.'"

Sefer Yirmiyahu, Ch. 6
