Three Israeli Arabs were stopped outside of a Jerusalem synagogue on Sunday morning carrying large knives.

The suspects were approaching the Heichal Yaakov synagogue in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Kiryat Moshe that was full of worshipers who were praying their morning prayers.

The three are suspected of attempting to carry out a large attack on worshipers, they have been brought in for questioning and the investigation is ongoing. Arutz7

We may all be in for a big surprise, according to the Zohar (large case) and the Mitok Midvash (small case):

DAY WILL COME before the arrival of Moshiach THAT WILL BE for the Jewish people AS IT WAS AT THE LEAVING OF EGYPT, REGARDING WHICH IT SAYS, “AND YOSEF DIED, ALL HIS BROTHERS AND THAT GENERATION” (Shemos 1:6).

This means that the knowledge and grasp of Torah will end, and their lives will become embittered just as the exile overpowered them after the death of Yosef. There will be “poverty” of Torah in the final generation, and financial poverty which deny them the strength to properly be involved in Torah. 

With respect to this it says, THERE WON’T BE DEATH IN THE FINAL GENERATION EXCEPT FOR POVERTY, BECAUSE A POOR PERSON IS CONSIDERED DEAD (Nedarim 64b), TO FULFILL THROUGH THEM, “AND I WILL LEAVE OVER IN YOUR MIDST A HUMBLE AND POOR PEOPLE, AND THEY SHALL TAKE SHELTER IN THE NAME OF GOD” (Tzephania 3:12), AND TO FULFILL THROUGH THEM, “YOU DELIVER THE HUMBLE PEOPLE” (II Shmuel 22:28). There is no question that the financial situation has worsened over the last 10 years. Everyone points it out, especially the “Givers.” Between the greed-fueled stock market crashes and the greed-fueled scandals, money is just not flowing in the Jewish world as it once did. It has affected everyone, even the honest people, and the Zohar addresses this as well:

THE WEALTHY WHO REMAIN among the Jewish people WILL FULFILL the words of the verse, “YOU ARE LAX, JUST LAX” (Shemos 5:17). They are LAX IN TORAH learning themselves AND LAX IN DOING charitable GOOD FOR THOSE WHO COULD LEARN TORAH, AND THE MEN OF VALOR, that is, the Torah scholars WHO ARE CIRCULATING from necessity FROM CITY TO CITY AND DO NOT RECEIVE FAVOR or mercy. (Zohar, BeHa’alosecha, Ray’a Mehemna 153a)

The Zohar, interestingly enough, does not stop here with its prediction for the End-of-Days, and its comparison of the Final Redemption to the first one. It even anticipates the reason for the withholding of funds, and it will not be as people say:

THEY ARE LAX, the wealthy people claim, BECAUSE OF THE WEIGHT OF TAXES, and that this is the reason why they cannot support Torah scholars. IF YOU SAY that the reason is because THEY ARE BURDENED BY THE WEIGHT OF THE TAX, AND THAT this is why THEY DO NOT DO GOOD, it is not true. They are simply lax and the opposite is the case. Not sufficiently helping Torah scholars causes taxes to become burdensome, which in turn prevents them from being generous with Torah scholars. Regarding them it says, “LET THE LABOR FALL HEAVY UPON THE MEN AND LET THEM WORK AT IT” (Shemos 5:9), that is, let there be HEAVY TAXES UPON THEM. Thus, though at first they willingly refused to help

Torah scholars in the end they be forced not to support them. Thus it further says, “AND LET THEM NOT SPEAK ABOUT FALSE MATTERS” (Shemos 5:9) that is, by increasing taxes and making it very difficult to support Torah scholars THEY WILL actually NOT BE SPEAKING FALSELY since it will be as they say. (Zohar, BeHa’alosecha, Ray’a Mehemna 153a).

The verses quoted by the Zohar are of course talking about the situation for the Jewish people in Egypt at the end of the oppression, which was very different from the situation as it exists today. Without the Zohar, one would never have thought to interpret them in such a way as to apply them to the final exile and redemption, and certainly not in the manner that the Zohar has explained them. This is even though there are strong comparisons made between the leaving of Egypt and the Final Redemption.

The Zohar says that we invite crisis when we do not follow in His ways, so whatever follows is to right the wrong. Therefore, it is now as good a time as ever to become an expert in concepts such as trust and faith in God.

People will mock such ideas, they usually do. Nevertheless, at this point, it is the only real preparation for what happens at the end of an exile. Maybe this is what the Talmud means when it compares the Final Redemption to the first one, also in terms of how many people will survive. The midrash says that it was position and money that kept four-fifths of the Jews in Egypt when the time to leave came. They all perished in the Plague of Darkness as a result. According to the Talmud, the situation will be likewise in the Messianic Era as well (Sanhedrin 111a).

A mussar shmooze in Yidish given (2/2014) by the Tolna Rebbe of Jerusalem, Rabbi Yitzchok Menachem Weinberg, discusses with a sense of humor why Chazal tell us, (Jerusalem Talmud, Megillah 1:11) that the third Bais Hamikdash will descend from the heavens, fully built.

“My sons, Hakadosh Baruch Hu knows his yidden. Imagine for yourselves that Moshiach is coming. Let’s try to picture for ourselves that we are standing now on a Motzei Shabbos and we all hear the sound of the shofar. Moshiach is here.

“The first thing that we need to do is to rebuild the Bais Hamikdash. We all know how the chareidi world operates, Baruch Hashem. Picture for yourselves how this Bais Hamikdash will be built. Let me tell you what is going to happen.

“The first ones who will enter the picture will be Agudas Yisroel who will say ‘Of course we are the ones who will build the Bais Hamikdash. We are the ones who worry about all the needs of the chareidi community. Is there any doubt that we should be the ones in charge?’ They will convene a whole assembly of gedolim in order to decide what needs to be done.

“Meanwhile, R’ Meir Porush will come and say, ‘And what about me? The Agudah represents everyone? I want this to be under my auspices.’ And then there will be a second group of Rabbonim discussing how to build the Bais Hamikdash.

“The Litvaks will come next and they will start to scream. ‘Gevald! The chasidism should build the Bais Hamikdash? They will all be dancing because they don’t know anything about the actual halachos of building the Bais Hamikdash. They will offer to find one Kohein who actually knows the halachos of the avoda. But they will tell us: “for this part, you are going to need the Kollel Chazon Ish. For that part you are going to need the avreichim in Brisk.” What are you, crazy? We will build the Bais Hamikdash.’

“Then will come Satmar, from both sides, and they will say, ‘You are all Zionists! You are unfit to build the Bais Hamikdash.’

“The Chabadniks will also get involved. ‘You are all crazy! Moshiach is ours! It is our Rebbe, our Moshiach, what are you talking about the Bais Hamikdash? You are all insane.’

“You understand that Moshiach will come and, nebuch, it will be another long galus just until we can all agree who will build the Bais Hamikdash.

Therefore, Hakadosh Baruch Hu has made the decision for us saying, ‘Listen to me, my children. It is enough for me that you will come to the Bais Hamikdash. I will build it on my own, because there is no other way the Bais Hamikdash could ever be built.’”

The Tolna Rebbe, Rabbi Yitzchak Menachem Weinberg, is a noted Scholar, leads the Tolna community in Jerusalem and is a sought after lecturer.

The Vilna Gaon (1720-1797). "We must bring 600,000 Jews to the Land of Israel. ... This is the authentic love of one's homeland.

“And the Lord your G-d will bring you to the land that your fathers possessed and you shall possess it.”   This is the 5,708^thverse of the Torah, and in the year 5,708 (1948) the state of Israel was established and the Law of Return enacted, of which law the Sages’ saying can be applied: “The day of ingathering of exiles is as great as the day heaven and earth were created.” 

From the very beginning of "The Return" to this new (old)land that the desperate Jews were to inhabit, there were two sides to the endeavor. 

At one point the religious Jews were very much in favor of resettling. In fact, in 1880s there was religious Aliya from Eastern Europe, with farming settlements such as Mazkeret Batya. The Hovevei Zion, or the Lovers of Zion, were responsible for the creation of 20 new Jewish settlements in Palestine between 1870 and 1897. In the late 1870s, Jewish philanthropists such as the Montefiores and the Rothschilds responded to the persecution of Jews in Eastern Europe by sponsoring agricultural settlements for Russian Jews. The Jews who migrated in this period are known as the First Aliyah. Founded in 1878, Rosh Pinna and Petah Tikva were the first modern Jewish settlements.

Mazkeret Batya is a town in central Israel located southeast of Rehovot and 25 kilometres from Tel-Aviv, founded November 7, 1883, by 11 pioneers from Russia and 7 local Jews [...] the first agricultural settlement of the Hovevei Zion movement. Today the area is in demand. Even Nefesh B'Nefesh is promoting Aliya to: "Mazkeret Batya, founded by a group of religious farmers in 1883, is absolutely charming. Quiet and slightly isolated, yet very close to large shopping areas and within commute distances from the main employment areas."

Back to the planning stages. In fact, the Orthodox Jews were very much in favor of Hertzl's idea (as they perceived it). However, the East European Jews were still entrenched in their lifestyle to undertake such a move. When Hertzl died there was a struggle between the forces. Zionism breaks with Orthodox Judaism and moves towards Communism.

It is from this communism and socialism the seeds of todays secular cultural zionism took root. Somewhere our Torah literature explains that this was actually ordained. That the non-religious were to inhabit, and build the infrastructure for this final Aliyah to Eretz Yisrael. However, if Orthodox Judaism had succeeded politically (which I believe was truly the purpose), I'm sure the concepts of "Torah", "Halacha", "Mashiach", "Biblical agenda", "Jewish morality",  and belief and devotion to G–D would be every day conversation, not to mention the news media.

However, this cultural zionism (communist socialism) is what produced today's thinking, such as Religious Zionism must disengage from zealots:

The State will not disappear!

The right to exist is in the Torah. Israelites (and only the Israelites) had a First Commonwealth with the First Temple; and the Jews had sovereingty with the Second Temple. The Shabac simply HAD to save face, didn't they? First they grab some hilltop kids without any evidence that these kids did anything wrong. Then they hold them for weeks or months without a hearing, without legal representation, without their parents being able to see them, while torturing them. In the meantime, no evidence is found against these kids. Then these kids, to stop the pain and torture, "confess",  just to end the nightmare. Then the Shabac "has" them and indicts them on the basis of these "confessions" which aren't worth a hill of beans because they were made under extreme duress and torture... The Shabac is building a whole case based on lies, fabrications and frameups, and nothing but. Next thing, after the gag order is lifted, is to fabricate evidence against these kids.


This is a JEWISH STATE. There is no equivalence in the actions of Jewish kids vs. the actions of Arab terrorists! ‘Solid Evidence Versus Confessions’
There’s no question in my mind that deadly arson is a major crime, and the perpetrators needs to be brought to justice. What does bother me is how justice will be played out? It has already become subject to a media drama, and no doubt diplomatic as well as professional integrity will also be hanging in suspense awaiting the due process of law. Due to the immense need to maintain a healthy balance within Israeli society, truth, and only truth can prevail. In my layman’s opinion, the case must rest more on solid evidence that can be corroborated from external sources, rather [than] mere confessions of self-implication, which under the circumstances of that prolonged detainment could be justifiably regarded with doubt. Meanwhile, we can expect all the vicious radical sectors of Israeli society to fan the flames of additional hatred, probably equal to whoever caused the initial arson in Duma. Only one victor can emerge and that is a just, justice.

How come the indictments were filed with such detail. This is not justice or truth. They should have been charged with the offence and then the case presented in open court not a publicity stunt for the media and the left to gloat over. It is time for Israel to have a jury system so that it is not for judges alone to dispense justice.

Really? All this, apparently, without any back-up contingent, standing by to extricate them, should they be discovered and set upon (read “lynched”) by the inhabitants of the village?

I didn't know a private wedding would become so public. I couldn't have known that a beautiful and holy affair would later be trashed in the headlines as "The Wedding of Hate". A True Torah Outlook

As a young man, Eliyahu's father, the late former Sefardi Chief Rabbi of Israel Mordechai Eliyahu was a terrorist and revolutionary who plotted to [overthrow the State of Israel to] form a new theocratic government governed by halakha (Orthodox Jewish law).

In the current ‘Jewish’ state, there is complete democratic freedom for all sorts of crazy ideas, except for Judaism alone which is declared illegal. In Israel today, the Torah’s solution to security problems is racist, the Torah’s views on international relations are incitement, and anyone who supports the Torah’s opinion over the laws of the state is an anarchist. Those who struggle with love for the land of Israel are arrested and their homes are destroyed.

In the State of Israel today we have leaders who do not understand the Torah and no one dares explain to them what a true Jewish state looks like, why the Jewish people to the land of Israel, and what right the Jewish people have to the land. Not only are we victims of this unfortunate situation, but you are too- you, the judge, and the prosecutor. All of us are captives of this reality. Each of us has a G-dly soul that wants to live a Jewish life and we all feel alone in our opposition to the state.

As a friend of mine likes to say, "there are no coincidences". The rediscovery of this tiny bulla upon closer inspection reveals the official seal of the King of Judah. This should give those pause, those and fear-laden headlines about a group of teenagers that desire the return of the monarchy with a King as its leader. Jacob sheep trace their origins to the ancient Middle East. The sheep were sometimes kept as ornamental animals on British estates due to their spotted coats and their tendency toward multiple horns. Sheep usually have two horns, but Jacob sheep have four to six horns, including large curved horns that frame their face. They are also prized for their resistance to disease and the high quality of their fleece, though they do not produce a large amount of fleece.







Genetic markings for this breed date back at least a few thousand years. The journey for this breed of sheep began in ancient Syria (also the biblical home of Laban) and led through North Africa. Moorish invaders brought the breed to Spain, then to England, where the animal was something of a trophy sheep. A number were brought to North America, originally for zoos and then later for commercial use.




The breed received the name “Jacob sheep” based on Genesis Chapter 30, when Jacob talks about leaving Laban’s home and taking part of the flock as his payment for years of service. “I will pass through all thy flock today, removing from thence every speckled and spotted one, and every dark one among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats; and of such shall be my hire.” (Genesis 30:32)

In addition to their nomadic history, the sheep also have another uniquely Jewish characteristic: they suffer from Tay-Sachs disease, a genetic disorder that afflicts Ashkenazi Jews.

Tay-sachs disease comes from a narrow inbreeding of chromosomes, which is why the purebred sheep, which all originated from a small genetic pool, have a similar issue. The Lewinskys (Mr and Mrs. hope to import them) hope that doctors will study Jacobs sheep to understand more about how the disease afflicts people.

Today, there are just a few thousand Jacobs sheep worldwide, mostly on heritage farms in England and North America. The Lewinskys hope to establish the first heritage farm in Israel to raise Jacob sheep. They want to return to Israel and buy a farm in the Golan Heights, where the mineral-rich soil means they won’t have to provide supplemental minerals like farmers do for this sheep in other parts of the world.

Healing Miraculous Waters:

In chapter 47 of the book of Yechezkel (Ezekiel) a miracle is described that will take place in the future via the Holy Temple. A small stream of water will flow out from the Holy Temple, which will become larger once it leaves the Temple. Many trees will be by the edge of both sides of this stream. In verse 8-12 we learn, 

"These waters issue out towards the eastern region, and go down into the Arava (plain); and they will enter the sea, to the sea of exiting waters and the waters shall be healed.  And it shall come to pass, that every living thing, with which it swarms, wherever the streams shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: so that everything shall be healed, and shall live where that stream comes. 

And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from En-gedi as far as En-eglayim; there shall be a place for the spreading of nets; their fish shall be of various kinds, like the fish of the great sea, exceeding many. But its miry places and its marshes shall not be healed; they shall be given for salt. And by the stream upon its bank, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for food, whose leaf shall not wither, neither shall its fruit fail: it shall bring forth new fruit every month, because the waters issue out of the Temple: and its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for medicine".

HaKol Yehudi: The heart of the conflict or the heart of world peace? Is the Temple Mount really a powder keg at the center of the conflict? The discussion on the topic misses the point. The Mount and the Temple are the goal, not a step along the way.[...] The Temple Mount is not just part of the land of Israel, rather it is the heart of the land (in general we should refer to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount as the ‘center’ of the country, rather than Tel Aviv). Not for nothing was the Temple Mount bought by King David on behalf of all of Israel. We see from this that the gift of the land to the Jewish people can be likened to the mundane process of dividing land among servants and we are among them. However, the giving of the place of the Temple, ‘G-d’s Throne,’ reveals a deeper connection between a father and son. Further this elevates the giving of the land as a whole to an incredible show of love.

Despite the different opinions about going up to the Temple Mount, there is no doubt that every Jew believes that this place is ours. If the Prime Minister goes before the nations of the world and gives up the Temple Mount, we’ll tell him simply, ‘Who gave you the right?!’ Furthermore, millions of people from each and every nation are part of the recognition that the Temple Mount belongs to the Jewish people.

On The Erev Rav

"Eisav and Yishmael are entwined in Avraham and Yitzhak, but the `erev rav are entwined in Yaakov; they are more problematic to Israel and to the shekhina, for they are the leaven in the dough - for all the misers and those who do not support the Torah are from them" - Tikkunei Zohar, p. 35.

...And see the profundity of their statements made about the blight, and yet there is a fourth kind: `and they have mingled (in Hebrew, Vayitarvu, related to the term Erev Rav) with the nations and learned from their deeds' - these are themselves Jews who adhered to the `erev rav and became like them...and this fourth kind is the most difficult of them all, and they are our brothers who have soured" - his commentary to B'rakhot 54:

And in the book of Tikkunim of Zohar Hadash (p. 54) we find written: "As for Yaakov, because he foresaw the pressure of the last exile in the end of days, the Torah says And Yaakov was very much afraid and felt troubled, and he divided up the holy nation in exile into three divisions, and he placed the maidservants and their children first, and Leah and her children behind them, and Rachel and Yosef last "

And the Gaon wrote there:

# The three divisions are as follows: the `erev rav, the good simple people amongst them, and the scholars. The maidservants and their children first - these are the `erev rav made by Lilit, the bad maidservant, of whom it is said: And if a maidservant should inherit her lady, and also her sons, who are the leaders of the holy nation in the last exile, as it is said: Her foes became her leaders, as it was said in "Raaya Mehemna" (Zohar 3/125).

Leah and her children behind them - they are the good simple people.

Rachel and Yosef last of all - they are the scholars of whom Rachel is the chief of the house... They are last because they are downtrodden and debased, as it is said: Those who fear sin will be despised, and the wisdom of the scribes [alt. translated as counters] will be rotten, as he went on in R.M. The main force of the `erev rav is at the gates of Jerusalem by the entrance of the city (The Great Period, 503-504).

This seems to be a shift and a change in the definition of `erev rav from what we have seen in the other quotations (full of desire, argumentative, honor-seeking, hurrying to give instruction though they are unqualified to do so, etc.). It would seem that this point mentioned by "Kol HaTor" of the resistance to the realization of the redemption of the Jews was not expressed in the other utterances by the Gaon regarding the `erev rav.

This, however, is what R. Hillel of Shklov explains to us: the nation of Israel has suffered so many tribulations during its horrible exile (see MahaRal, Netzah Yisrael, the beginning of chapter 49), and our heart boils over with distress at the memory of our terrible debasement, both in spirituality and in materiality. How, now, can there arise out of our nation Sanballats to destroy and disrupt the restoration of the nation of Israel in its land? The only explanation possible is that they really are full of desire, argumentative, proud etc. - lacking true links with the Jewish people or with the Torah of Israel.

We must not take into consideration that some of them do actually have some superficial knowledge of Torah (see Adderet Eliyahu to Deut. 32:20) for My people is foolish, they do not know Me... they are wise in causing evil, but know not how to do good (Jeremiah 4:22). That is, if they are not G-d-fearing - they do not know Me - they will turn the words of the living G-d into lies and deceit. The proof that their hearts are impure is that they are not distressed at the disaster of Yosef (Amos 6:6). They do not feel sorrow at the disaster of the entire Jewish people, though they chatter Torah-like platitudes of love of Israel. 

"And they heal the disaster of My nation too easily, saying `Peace, peace!' - but there is no peace!" (Jeremiah 6:14). Further proof, instead of quarreling with the nations of the world who cause us distress, they choose to argue and quarrel with the faithful of Israel - all by virtue of those very same characteristics defined by the Zohar (I/25).
