After driving through the winding, historic Jerusalem hills, we will travel up the Mediterranean Coast to our first visit, Hadera, a "First Aliyah" town..
There, we shall have an in-depth tour of one of its kind, the"Khan Museum". We will learn about a phenomenon known in modern Jewish history as the "First Aliyah."
Religious farmers who left Eastern Europe in the latter part of the nineteenth century, through family farming, represented a threshold in the period of national redemption.
The dramatic story of the first pioneers of Hadera when it was a swamp, and the larger picture of the "First Aliyah" return to Zion, is told in depth using multimedia tools.
We will have lunch of your choice in the new mall at Caesarea.
After lunch, we will proceed to the Jewel of Archaeological sites," Caesarea on the sea.
Our tour will include multiple levels of history and archaeology, a film, and a walk along the beautiful beach.

We will drive through the magnificent Judean Desert in its spectacular coat of green after the first blessed rains, IyH.
Our first visit will be to the unearthed ancient synagogue at Ein Gedi.
This magnificent edifice with its beautiful and unique mosaic floor contains a written warning to its community to keep its secret on pain of curse.

We continue to the Dead Sea beach, where we will have the opportunity to walk along the shore, wet our feet, sunbathe, or float on the saltiest water and the lowest point on earth
We will have our packed lunch at the magnificent "Dead Sea visitors center."
We will enjoy an in-depth tour and multimedia presentation about the miracle of the Dead Sea works - how life is drawn from the "deadest " of seas.

We then proceed to kibbutz "Mashabe Sadeh" guest house for a relaxing evening after a sumptuous dinner together.
The next day, we will enjoy a lovely breakfast and the lush grounds and their serenity.
Our first visit will be to Danny Glickstein's family's pioneer farm deep in the desert.
Danny is one of the Jewish farmers standing their ground in the face of aggressive Bedouin encroachment on Jewish national land and rife farm theft.
We will have a first-hand account of the general situation and his family's personal role and experience in keeping the Negev Jewish for future generations.
We will then visit the world-class high-tech Negev agriculture and solar power center.
We will learn about the cutting-edge methods and products of Israeli agriculture and solar power innovation.
We will understand how tiny, embattled Israel has become a world leader in both.
After lunch, we will visit the Indian community in Moshav Nevatim, near Beer Sheva.
We shall have a guided tour of the "Cochin Jews " museum.
One of the most far-flung and exotic communities, this ancient Jewish group made Aliyah after Israel's independence.
We will learn about their amazing history of Jewish preservation and perseverance, and their ultimate journey home..
