Piece by Piece

Nearly 80% of what was the historic land of "Palestine" (slated for the Jewish Home) as defined by the League of Nations (and confirmed by British Declaration of 1917), was then severed by the British (themselves) in 1922 and allocated to what later became Transjordan (whose majority population was/is "Palestinian Arab"). This left only 20% of the original Mandate for the Jews, which was then further subdivided (more than half) by the UN in the 1947 Partition Plan, to award the Arabs with an additional state known as Palestine.
