EYE on the Brave and Courageous

Who's The Most Right-Wing?

The MKs most loyal to the right-wing's agenda in the Knesset term that just ended were the Likud's Danny Danon and Yariv Levin and the National Union's Michael Ben-Ari and Arye Eldad, according to a comprehensive study by the Mattot Arim organization that will be distributed later this week to its mailing list of 21,000 Israelis.

This is one organization to join, or at least be on their mailing list:

[…] Mattot Arim spokeswoman Susie Dym said the study was intended to encourage elected officials to keep their campaign promises and justify their hefty salaries. She said a senior politician had tried to persuade her not to publish the study but that instead she intends to release such reports more regularly.

"We [in Mattot Arim] are modeling ourselves after the magazine Consumer Reports in the United States," … Israelis are consumers! For more names see the Most Loyal.

For the third time in less than a month, members of the National Union's Knesset faction spent a day of their recess on a field trip ...on Thursday as Israeli citizens, without police or Knesset Guard escorts, walking through the cobblestone streets led by Rabbi Yitzhak Levi of Alon Shvut, an expert in the historical and archeological heritage of the Temple Mount area.

Uri Ariel, Arye Eldad and Michael Ben-Ari - said that they were carrying out the walk to clarify the veracity of rumors that Jews had recently been prohibited from walking or gathering near the approaches to the Temple Mount.

Former US Governor and Future
Presidential Contender Visits Israel

On Mike Huckabee's agenda is a Reception at the Shepherd’s Hotel, a part of a larger tour around the country. "This is an opportunity to shine the spotlight on Obama's policy in Jerusalem, which has just been a horror," New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind told The Jerusalem Post.

[…] Huckabee's arrival is significant because, this is a guy who's a major figure in America, and in my opinion will be a presidential candidate again," Hikind said. "To have a guy like him, you know, from Arkansas, come at this particular time, and say the kinds of things he's going to say, it's going to send a very strong message to the Israeli people and to the American administration."

Mike Huckabee was currently the No. 1 Republican consideration for the 2012 presidential race and "one of the best friends Israel has in America."
