On these days
right before Purim, it cannot be stressed strongly enough that our brothers and sisters in the Land of our Avos and Imahos (Jewish founding families of our 12 Tribes) are suffering from poverty,
and that means clothing, food and shelter, not to mention the trauma of being fired upon with rockets and mortars.
If we want our prayers to be strengthened on the day of Purim, then I would suggest that one give and give with an open hand and heart to help these families and individuals who will Bless us for remembering them in the personal dilemma.
Akiva of Mystical Paths has direct links to Yad Eliezer, Colel Chabad, Lema'an Achai (Beit Shemesh), and Rabbi Rosenberg's Eizer L'Shabbos in Safed, who is begging with a broken heart that we please donate so families with have food for Purim.
Shirat Devorah tells us what the Rambam writes on the obligation of Matanot L'evyonim taking priority over other obligations of Purim.
Give Nachas to Avinu B'Shamayim
and donate please.
