The Chazon Ish on the Government in Israel

THE FOLLOWING IS AN 'EXCERPT' FROM myrtlerising:

On page 207 in Dor HaAcharon, originally quoted in Parshas Hakesef, page 233:

"The State (govt.) will disappear before the coming of Mashiach"

It says:

“And it's brought in the name of the Gaon, the Chazon Ish of blessed memory, who said that Melech HaMashiach will not take the jurisdiction from their hands because there will be some kind of thing in the meantime that, with certainty, will make it disappear before the coming of Mashiach.” (pg 233)
