Exclusive and fascinating behind-the-scenes recording from the study of the Leader of the Generation, Maran Rosh HaYeshiva HaGaon HaRav Moshe Hillel Hirsch Shlit"a, in a private meeting with the rabbis and Roshei Yeshiva of the northern city of Karmiel.
During the discussion, the Rosh Yeshiva candidly outlined the existential agenda facing traditional Judaism in Israel:
"The secular and left-wing factions are actively trying in every possible way to dismantle Orthodox Judaism. They are cutting funding to our independent school system, enforcing unprecedented restrictions on Chadorim, and now targeting our girls' seminaries. Their clear objective is to fundamentally alter the Haredi public so that authentic Torah Judaism cannot survive in Eretz Yisrael. If we do not stand united and strong, it will lead to total devastation!"
Maran Shlit"a also addressed Yeshiva students who mistakenly believe they understand politics better than the elders:
"There are young men who think they know better than everyone else. Tell them clearly: You do not understand what is taking place behind the scenes! It is an absolute obligation to vote for Degel HaTorah."
In a moment of wit and deep insight, when asked how to convince non-religious Jews to vote, the Rosh Yeshiva smiled and remarked:
"I only wish you could first convince all the religious Jews... If we secure every single Haredi vote, our situation will be exceptionally good
