Rabbi Menachem Menashe (1892–?) was a esteemed Turkish-born Torah scholar and hidden tzadik who studied under Istanbul sages, including Rabbi Shlomo Eliezer Alfandri Dafyomi Advancement Forum. Known for his uncompromising commitment to truth and meticulous attention to detail in Torah observance, he was a close friend of the Baba Sali (Rabbi Yisrael Abuchatzeira), who even arranged his second marriage.
Character & Philosophy: He was known as a hidden tzadik (righteous person) who prioritized absolute truth and adherence to Halacha over personal gain or public opinion.
Connection to Baba Sali: He maintained a close friendship with Rabbi Yisrael Abuchatzeira (the Baba Sali) and his son, Rabbi Meir Abuchatzeira. The Baba Sali facilitated his second marriage after his first wife passed away, even covering the expenses.
