The New York Times headline is adding fuel to Antisemitism
Yeshiva Talmidim want to continue to learn our Holy Torah, continue our holy Mesorah from Har Sinai, which is what deems us Jewish, what holds up the world.
Without Talmidim, Chahamim, there is no purpose to life on Earth

Open up נ"ך: Torah scholars were soldiers.
The Brisker Rav once said that the גר"א and the שאגת אריה could serve as soldiers (and he was referring to a מלחמת רשות)
And stop with the double talk. The Charedim, ignoring the psak of Rav Shach, refuse to have non-learners serve.
Ephraim, are you a soldier? Is that why you are so vocal on this?
