Rabbi Weissman: Conspiracies.....

A conspiracy thousands of years in the making

Be careful who you trust; plus the Erev Rav government certifies Hamas

In this week’s Torah class we learned several Midrashim on the topic of trust, including a particularly interesting Midrash about Eisav taking the daughter of Yishmael as a wife. For various versions of the Midrash, see here on Yechezkel 35:10.

In short, Eisav didn’t marry this woman out of love or with noble intentions. He married her so he would have an “in” with his new father-in-law. Eisav intended to incite Yishmael to kill his own brother, Yitzchak, over the inheritance of Avraham, after which Eisav would kill Yaacov, and the two of them would share the inheritance.

The Yalkut Shimoni, which we read in the class, has it a bit differently. According to this version, Eisav planned on inciting Yishmael to kill Yaacov, presumably out of devotion to his new son-in-law, and the two of them would then share the inheritance.

Either way, this was all a ruse from Eisav. After getting Yishmael to do the dirty work, he planned on “avenging the blood” of his father/brother and keeping everything for himself.

This is not just an interesting tale. It’s an insight into the mind of Eisav and the alliances he makes with other nations under false pretenses.

There is no indication that Eisav succeeded to incite Yishmael at the time. On the contrary, Chazal teach us that Yishmael did teshuva later in life, accepted Yitzchak as the rightful heir to Avraham, and made no further issue of it.

But Eisav hasn’t given up. Thousands of years later, the descendants of Eisav continue to work both sides. Behind the scenes, however, and often in full view, Eisav incites the descendants of Yishmael to wage war against the descendants of Yaacov over the inheritance, and provides them with the means to do so.

Eisav promises that if Yishmael does the dirty work, they will share the profit together, but it’s all a ruse. Eisav intends to stab Yishmael in the back and “avenge Yaacov’s blood”, then take everything for himself.

Unlike thousands of years ago, the descendants of Yishmael are largely taking the bait. They don’t care for the descendants of Eisav, but it is a marriage of convenience. For now.

The descendants of Yishmael who did the dirty work on October 7 were armed, sponsored, and managed by the descendants of Eisav. Eisav has great plans both for the “poor suffering people of Gaza” and his “friends” in Israel. The leaders of both entities work for him, not for us.

We have very little control over what the globalist puppet leaders of our respective countries do and the marriages of convenience they make with each other. However, we do control whether or not we fall for their ruses, make ourselves easy prey, and allow them to incite us against each other while they profit and advance their agenda. For all their pious rhetoric, they do absolutely nothing with our best interests in mind; they intend only to exploit us and do away with us when we are no longer useful.

This was only one small part of the class. We mainly learned an entire chapter from Sefer Habris with practical guidelines on balancing generosity toward strangers with prudent suspicion, sharing sensitive information even with friends and family (let alone on social media!), and the importance of continuing to be kind and generous even if we’ve been burned by unscrupulous people.

The class is embedded above and on Rumble here. The link to join the weekly classes live is here.

Speaking of exploiting people, the seed of Amalek have confirmed their right to force residents of “urban renewal” areas affected by their pretextual war to sell their homes to the government or go along with the plan. If not, the government can seize their homes without compensation.

A Hebrew article about it can be found here, and the announcement on the government’s site is here. (Smotrich is highly supportive. Of course he is; he’s one of them. That’s why he has his position and is still alive. Why does anyone still think otherwise?)

Here’s an interesting fact. There are different terms in Lashon Hakodesh for different types of thieves. Someone who steals in secret is called a ganav. Someone who steals openly, with force if necessary, is called a gazlan.

Then there is the crook who forces people to sell their property against their will, and throws money at them to make it respectable. Do you know what that type of crook is called?

hamsan.

What he does is called hamas. (See Bava Kama 62a.)
