Firstly, we thank, Baruch Hashem, for everything, and then, that 20 Jewish lives have survived the Hamas dungeons (738 days).
What came to mind, and I don’t have the exact numbers, how did these survivors survive, and compare this to those in the Russian gulag who also survived so many years?
The details are not quite the same; however, the torment and struggle to stay alive might be comparable?
The Israelites and later Yehudim and later religious Jews of our history also went thru awful times that challenged their neshomos.
What are we to learn from all this?
Have we reached the end of our suffering for the act of the Miralgim?
Are we hopefully awaiting Techias Hameisim?
And our long awaited leader, the neshoma of Moshe Rabbeinu within Mashiach?
Can we Jews all come together again as at Har Sinai ……
and home to our Father, HKB”H Who is waiting for us?

I think we should remember and not forget, we Jews have gone
through hell and high water since we received our Torah at Har Sinai.
The reason for the suffering is clear. It's in the Torah. Hashem warns
us of what will happen when we veer away from our Torah Commandments.
We don't listen and don't learn from our mistakes, through the millenia of galut, it was inevitable not to take on the non-Jewish ways and when they learned what freedom is (taken from our Torah), the Jews thought, 'Oh, the goyim are good and good to us, so they abandoned as much as they could of the true Jewish values and our holy Laws.
Today, we have such a mixture of non-Jewish blood and we really don't
who is a real Jew. We need Hashem's Rachamim!
(Think also 'Erev Rav).
