The two Rabbis are correct and they are warning (which all the real rabbis in Israel should be
doing) that the nation must do teshuvah and I believe the harsh punishment that was meted out on the 7th of October is a severe warning to us. These 2 Rabbis gave general explanations but there must be warnings from the chief rabbis down (all Orthodox) that the government and the nation must dp tshuvah by ousting the 'leftists' in government & all their agencies, depts. Whoever does not understand what is clear as crystal, meaning the realization that the nation from top down has reached the 49th level of tumah. Things can only get worse unless we wake up and realize that H' is warning us that we must return and reconnect to Him, our Father in Heaven.
That is the only recourse we have. The people must realize the sanctity and holiness of Eretz
Yisrael because it is NOT like any other place on earth. It is Hashem's Land which He gave
to us, the Jews, as an eternal inheritance where we are to perform the mitzvot and to sanctify
His Holy Name and, thus, this will bring Blessings to us & the world will benefit from it also and will bring us Moshiach tzdkeinu with 'Kindness and Mercy'. This problem is very big and must be fixed! Our enemies only have power over us when we go against our Holy Torah but they can never win over us when we are with Hashem because then Hashem is with us!
