We are in the same situation now but the exile is about to end and after this passover, the process of redemption will start to the next and happy beginning to eternity for all of the real jews and all of the good goyim J m
And when the time comes we will all understand why we NEEDED exile (I speak of exile both of Jews and non-Jews) in order to have the great gift we will receive.
