World's Smallest Violin

The miniaturist from Edinburgh, David Edwards, has created the world’s smallest violin, standing just 1.5 inches long and one 12th the normal size of a violin.
David Edwards, who once played cello in the Scottish National Orchestra, gave up his professional music career to make doll’s house miniatures when he realized there was a gap in the market. “Being a musician has helped me. Musicians have a lot of concentration.” he said.
I’m the best in the world by far and I’m very well known internationally. My pieces have the most detail for their size.

Other than world’s smallest violin he has created many household items including a thread bobbin and a shaving brush and razor, see below.

With all my respect to the author, far before this mini violin was made, Edward Ter-Kazarian , an Armenian maestro and micro-miniaturist has created a violin of 7mm and played a full concert on it with the Philharmonic orchestra of Armenia. He died in 2012. You can do a research about it and get all the info. The bow was a single hair. Cheers.
