We thought some things would definitely change after the October 7 massacres.
How could they not?
We thought that after the largest, most brutal act of murder, rape, and humiliation visited upon Jews since the Holocaust, it would jar the souls of every Jew.
We thought.
"Progressive" Jews, this year, again, commemorate the memory of our murdered brothers and sisters, together with the families of the Arab "martyrs" who murdered us.
After all, who is to judge which pain is greater?
We must never stop feeling the pain of others.
Isn't that true Judaism?
The "alternate" Memorial commemoration is becoming standard for ethical, peace-loving Jews
You cant make this stuff up.
There is more.
The day after Memorial Day is Independence Day.
How can moral, sensitive Jews celebrate our Independence when the establishment of the Jewish state is such a tragedy for those who tried to prevent it?
Is there anything more insensitive, so un-Jewish?
What exactly is that Arab pain that sensitive Jews are concerned with on Independence Day?
It is their failure to succeed in their proclaimed intention to butcher every last Jew. It did not go as planned.
That must be so very disappointing.
How sad, a catastrophe, a "Nakba."
They tried again in 1967, 1973, and have not stopped trying
Can you imagine their frustration and pain?
The "Arab side", the "Nakba" narrative is now taught in select progressive schools; schools where Jewish children will never know what is "Shema Yisroel", but memorize Palestinian poems of resistance.
The good news is that these sad, warped souls, who are fighting a desperate last battle for a non-Jewish Israel, are the laughing stock of the majority of normal Jews.
How sad for them.
