Raw Garlic Releases Organic Compounds that Kill Brain Tumors

*Raw Garlic Releases Organic Compounds that Kill Brain Tumors

[…A]ccording to All News Pipeline, They point out that studies going back to 2007 show that eating raw garlic releases organic compounds that kill brain tumors. In fact, a study reported by the National Health Service in the U.K. showed that consuming raw garlic successfully killed glioblastoma.

This was followed by an article in the U.S. National Institutes of Health that was published in July 2014 about a study that discovered that a compound derived from garlic could successfully fight glioblastoma.

Unfortunately, few people are aware that raw garlic can help with this type of cancer. While doctors are quick to recommend highly invasive surgery and chemotherapy, very few mention garlic’s potential to their patients. Those who are unwilling to undergo traditional cancer treatment for whatever reason have little to lose by trying it.

According to Healthline, overheating garlic will kill the beneficial compounds. The best way to get garlic’s health benefits is by ensuring it is chopped or broken down beforehand and consumed raw. It’s a good idea to let it sit for around 15 minutes after crushing it so the alliinase enzyme can be released; this is what causes the brain-protecting organic sulfur compounds to form.

Also, to make sure the garlic is organic. Today none of the produce is safe, so best to, at least, buy 'organic'.

Every Erev Pesach the shul is bursting with Israeli raw garlic on long branches, and mostly men buy many of these and hang them in their homes for the balabusta to use in cooking, and for the men to munch on. Leave it to the Israelis to do what is good and healthy “naturally”.

We must remember, at least to me, that the “Israelis” are a conglomeration of immigrants from mostly Arab nations that came here after ‘48. So they have traditions from other ME countries. Natural, raw, and close to the earth. Healthy!

That should be SHUK, not shul.

To me, the ashkenazim brought cold and “anti” to Eretz Yisrael.
