Akiva over at Mystical Paths, wrote about Jews being attacked or terrorized by Muslims: Muslims attack Jews in Amsterdam and Frightened in Britain. Well, terrorizing Jews has now come to New York, Manhattan and not Brookyn this time.
"A Jewish couple in New York were physically assaulted Monday by an anti-Semitic gang, who then fled the scene in cars flying the Palestinian Authority flag, according to the New York Post. Police sources say two cars and several motorbikes suddenly pulled up next to the couple as they were walking on East 63rd Street near Third Avenue on the Upper East Side, just after 8 p.m. Monday evening.
"The attackers then started shouting "anti-Jewish statements,", before launching their assault. ROne of the men struck the woman with a water bottle, and another punched her husband in the side of his head as he intervened to defend her."
To their credit, police have called it a "hate crime." I hope someone tells them to look for those thugs in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Seems the same brandishing of Palestinian flags while riding up 13th Avenue in Boro Park occurred a couple weeks ago. Or maybe they came from lower Flatbush near Ditmas? And then there was the incident in Crown Heights: Hatred Comes to Brooklyn Jews
