I must tell everyone that I attended the Farbrengen in honor of Yud Tes Kislev last evening, given by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Jacobson in Brooklyn, and it was the most exhilarating experience. The graciousness and generous hospitality of Chabad warmed the people and Rabbi Jacobson captured their minds and hearts with his divrei chassidus.
At the same time, the Oholei Torah Auction was held in Crown Heights, with many winners, but the unusual array of prizes is worth noting. Spectacular pictures can be viewed here:
The ladies had a wonderful time, delicious food, and amazing prizes, plus some very nice entertainment. Very tznius event!
Some more pictures of the event:
The ladies bestowed a special honor on Mrs. Sholom Mordechai (Leah) Rubashkin and a well-deserved show of support for a truly beautiful neshoma.
And to round out Yud Tes Kislev, you must go here to view some amazing photographs of the Grand Choral Synagogue in St Petersburg and the Petropavlovski fortress where the Alter Rebbe was imprisoned.
