RESPIRATOR after effects = ICU Delerium

Read What Happens To All Those Patients Denied a Cure And Put on Deadly Respirators and Ventilators

Why Everyone Who Wakes Up From a Respirator Needs a Mental Health Professional By Their Side (statements by Eli Beer)

By now, it is fairly common knowledge that in March while I was in Miami, I contracted Covid-19. I was put into an induced coma on a respirator twice, for nearly 30 days. By far the worst part of my experience was the dreams and the emotional and mental reaction I had to the drugs used to induce me into a coma as well as the time I missed.

When I woke up, both times, I was confused. I was heavily dosed with very powerful drugs that often cause horrible dreams. I thought that these dreams were my reality. At one point, I thought that I was in Switzerland and that everyone around me was dying. Another time I thought that I was being chopped up into little pieces. The dreams were absolutely horrific, and throughout it all, I thought that I was going to die. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was suffering from something called ICU Delerium.

Over the past few years, hospital staff all over the world have been discovering and documenting that patients who are kept in the ICU for long periods of time often suffer from this condition. ICU Delerium can cause a patient to have horrifying, violent hallucinations to the point where they feel that they are going crazy. When they talk about it to others, their feelings are often overlooked or ignored, something which can cause them to feel very much alone and depressed.

When I finally woke up the second time, I needed to re-learn how to walk, how to eat, and even how to use the bathroom. It was a terrible experience. My body was so weak I couldn’t do anything by myself. What was worse than all of that, is that I kept asking the doctors and nurses when Pesach would be as I desperately wanted to be home and spend the holiday with my family. Everyone was afraid to tell me the truth. Pesach had already come and gone and I had missed an entire month of my life. I missed celebrating the holiday with my wife and children. When my wife Gitty finally told me, it was a serious blow.

Between the feelings of deep disappointment of having missed spending Pesach with my family and having lost a month of my life, plus suffering from ICU Delerium, I was in dire need of someone by my side. I needed someone to counsel me, to ground me and to help me recover from the effects of the drugs that were still running through my system and making me doubt everything and everyone around me. At one point, I even recall telling my friends Mark Gerson, the Chairman of the Board for United Hatzalah and Dr. Joel Sandberg how the medical staff at the hospital were trying to kill me. The medical staff at Miami University hospital was absolutely terrific. They are some of the best doctors and nurses I have ever met. I cannot praise them enough for the high level of care they provided me. To think they were trying to hurt me was simply absurd and both of my friends knew that. I was hallucinating wildly and I needed help.

At one point one of the doctors, Dr. Maria Carolina Delgado-Lelievre, noticed my distress and came over to me to help put my mind at ease. She sat with me for an hour and explained everything that had gone on and everything that I was going through. This helped me a lot. But this was not something that was common there or anywhere else.

ICU Delerium is sudden and intense confusion that can include hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia. According to a recent study that was published in the Annals of Intensive Care Medical Journal, “Delirium is extremely common in the intensive care unit (ICU), especially amongst mechanically ventilated patients… and it is frequently undiagnosed unless specific diagnostic instruments are used.”

Tens of thousands of people have been put on respirators around the globe as a result of Coronavirus. Those who are lucky enough to wake-up and recover from the disease often suffer from ICU Delirium as I did. However, many times this condition goes undiagnosed, leaving many people with fear and mental trauma following the physical trauma of the disease. This is compounded by a recovery process that is tumultuous and traumatic.

A different report that appeared in STAT news about ICU Delirium stated that “Anywhere from a third to more than 80 percent of ICU patients suffer from delirium during their hospital stay. And one-quarter of all ICU patients suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder once they leave, a rate that’s comparable to PTSD diagnoses among combat veterans and rape victims. Patients with ICU delirium are less likely to survive and more likely to suffer long-term cognitive damage if they do.”

In order to ease the patients out of their induced comas, whether those comas were corona-related or not, there needs to be someone by their side who can guide them and help them through the process. As a patient who went through this, I can attest that this is a vital need for all patients and can greatly ease the suffering of recovering patients.

The emotional distress of waking up after such an experience can be overwhelming and people need help to get through it. I needed help to get through it. Thanks to Dr. Delgado-Lelievre, I got that help. And when the hospital saw what happened, they instituted a new protocol that requires a trained professional to be present with patients after they are woken up from induced comas on respirators to help them through the process.

I strongly urge all hospital managers and staff to do what the University of Miami Hospital has begun doing – to be aware of the emotional state of your patients who are recovering from this terrible disease and to have someone by them and help them emotionally. Patients need help in overcoming and healing from this. Please, I implore you to provide that aid and care and have a mental health professional by the side of the person recovering. It is incredibly necessary and often overlooked in many places. It will help speed the recovery process along and make it far less traumatic for the patient

ISRAEL! STOP USING ROUNDUP!

“In an expensive clean-up of Monsanto litigation messes, Bayer AG said Wednesday that it will pay out more than $10 billion to settle tens of thousands of U.S. claims brought against Monsanto over its Roundup herbicide, as well as $400 million to resolve lawsuits over Monsanto’s dicamba herbicide and $650 million for PCB pollution claims.
The resolutions come two years after Bayer bought Monsanto for $63 billion and almost immediately saw share prices plummet due to the Roundup liability.
Bayer announced that it will pay $10.1 billion to $10.9 billion total to resolve roughly 75 percent of the claims by an estimated 125,000 people who allege exposure to Monsanto’s Roundup weed killers caused them to develop non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The deal includes plaintiffs who have retained attorneys with the intent to sue but whose cases have not yet been filed, Bayer said.  Within that total, a payment of $8.8 billion to $9.6 billion will resolve the current litigation and $1.25 billion is being set aside to support potential future litigation, the company said.”
JUNE 23…
Reuters is reporting:
Bayer AG is close to agreeing a settlement worth $8-10 billion over claims its glyphosate-based Roundup weedkiller causes cancer, German business daily Handelsblatt reported on Tuesday.
The company’s supervisory board was due to discuss and vote on the settlement, which includes a $2 billion buffer for future claims, in the coming days, paper cited company and negotiating partner sources as saying.”

German-based media outlet Handelsblatt, where the story originally broke, writes,
The amount of the comparison is said to be the most recently reported sum of eight to ten billion dollars. Two billion dollars of this is considered a “reserve” with which Bayer can settle the claims of future plaintiffs.

The rest will settle all of the lawsuits pending in the United States from users of the controversial weed killer who blame Roundup, the glyphosate agent, for their cancer. The number was more than 50,000 recently.”
PS: Where does BAYER (Monsanto et al) get all those billions of USD Dollars?
From all the unhealthy vaccines produced and jabbed into humanity.

Reb Neuberger – Queen of the Night

PARSHAS CHUKAS-BALAK

QUEEN OF THE NIGHT
By Roy S. Neuberger

One evening, years ago, as we walked in the garden at Kibbutz Lavi, we inhaled an aroma that seemed to come from Gan Eden. When we later merited to plant our own garden in Yerushalayim, we searched for the source of that aroma. It is a tree called Queen of the Night.

“In [Gan Eden] every animal and plant, all the clouds in the sky and the stars and planets, existed in harmonious unity. All life was nourished without pain to any other living thing …. There was no killing, animosity or competition. G-d had made a world of beauty for the enjoyment of His creatures. Why would a horse have stripes? For the enjoyment of man. When Adam and Eve looked at the zebra, they could bless G-d because He had made such an extraordinarily beautiful animal for them to admire and delight in. The flashing colors of exotic fish, the leap of a gazelle, the song of the birds, the Northern lights in a starlit sky, a distant thunderstorm … all this was created just for them. Why did G-d make such a beautiful universe? Only for us, His beloved children, so that we should have a world to delight in.”

Hashem created a fragrant tree in his world. Precisely at sundown, its flowers open and release their aroma. I think of Moshiach when I inhale this aroma. At dawn the flowers close, and that is why it is called Queen of the Night.

Why should this beautiful aroma be released only at night? Here is another chessed from Hashem. I would say that He is giving us chizzuk. “The heavens declare the glory of G-d, and the expanse of the sky tells of His handiwork. Day following day brings expressions of praise and night following night bespeaks wisdom.”

Our current world is immersed in darkness. Hope for redemption seems to fade every second. How can we ever be redeemed? Suddenly, in the midst of the blackness, Hashem sends a fragrance which reminds us that Gan Eden still exists! He reminds us that He is going to send the Redeemer, the way Moshe Rabbeinu redeemed our ancestors when they had fallen to the forty-ninth level of impurity, or the way he had to pass through thick darkness as he ascended Har Sinai

In the deep darkness, there is hope.

This week we read the Haftara of Balak, about which Rabbi Avraham ha Kohain Pam zt”l wrote, “It is no coincidence that [this haftara is usually read on] the Shabbos before the Three Weeks, the period of mourning for the Bais Hamikdosh.”

Please hear the words of the Prophet: “And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples.” This seems to be our situation today, a sheep among seventy wolves. But no! That is not what the Prophet tells us! We are not sheep! Instead, he says, we are “like a lion cub among the flocks of sheep …. Your hand shall be raised over your adversaries and all your enemies shall be cut down!”

Do not think we are lost, Am Yisroel! In fact, our Redemption is near!

Please hear the remarkable words of Rabbi Yechiel Perr: “If we would have had the [merit] of seeing into the Mishkan, we might have been surprised … how dark it was inside. There were no windows. A small amount of light may have come in around the sides and the bottom of the thick curtain at the entrance. For a short time, there also would have been some light from the glow of the coals on the Altar of Incense. And of course, there was the glorious Menorah whose beautiful and pure light would dispel all darkness while it was lit. But, nevertheless, the Mishkan was … dark …. The Creator dwells in darkness. His Presence is hidden…. His thoughts, and the reasons for that which He brings upon man, are also hidden. The Children of Israel wait patiently, knowing the Creator is hidden and that therefore His plan is hidden. And we are thereby elevated by the test of our not knowing when ….”

Do you remember how our Father Abraham found the Cave of Machpela, where Adam, Eve, all the Patriarchs and three of the Matriarchs are buried? He followed a deer and then he inhaled the aroma emanating from the Garden of Eden.

My friends, there is an aroma in the darkness, emanating from the Garden of Eden. It is imperative that we seek it out, because it will guide us through the darkness and remind us how close we are to Redemption. A little while more, my friends, and suddenly a great light will burst forth upon the earth.

Our Haftara ends with these words: “With what shall I approach Hashem? Shall I humble myself before G-d of the Heavens? Shall I approach Him with burnt offerings? …. He has told you, Oh man, what is good and what Hashem

seeks from you: only the performance of justice, the love of kindness and walking humbly with your G-d.”

May we see the complete Redemption soon in our days and inhale the perfect aroma of the Ketores emanating from the Bais Hamikdosh!

QUEEN OF THE NIGHT

The flowers open at night

The flowers close by day

Rabbi Winston – Parshas Balak - Who is the wise person. . .

Bilaam said to Balak, "Stand beside your burnt offering, and I will go. Perhaps G–D will happen to appear to me, and He will show me something that I can tell you," and he went alone. (Bamidbar 23:3)

ISN’T IT AMAZING how history can barely change in any dramatic way for decades, and then all of sudden something happens and BOOM!, overnight everything is turned on its head.

At least that is the way it seems to us. So many people had no idea that there were planes headed for their businesses in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001. They had gone to work like any other day, and had planned to return home to their families at the end of it, like they had been doing for years. Within a couple of hours, they were gone from the world, and the world itself was in shock and turmoil.

I was in the States at the end of January of this year. The coronavirus had yet to change much, though there were some signs that changes were coming. But not to the extent that they eventually did, which is why I did not use the opportunity to go to Toronto for a day to visit my mother. She was supposed to come to Israel for Pesach, a few weeks later, so I figured I would see her then.

Then came COVID-19, and the cancellation of international flights. The truth is, my mother had already cancelled her flight because of the risk factor, but had she not, the airlines would have cancelled it for her. No one was going to Israel for Pesach unless that was their home, and even they had to go right into quarantine for two weeks.

Needless to say, I very much regret not having taken the opportunity to visit my mother that trip. In retrospect, it seems like such a wasted opportunity. Had I been consistent with one of my mantras, “You don’t know what tomorrow will bring, so do the important thing today,” I would be writing this now with a sense of gratitude instead.

The truth is, radical change rarely happens on a dime. On the contrary, it is usually the result of an ongoing process that may have taken years, decades, even centuries. It’s just that, in the beginning, much of that process usually occurs out of eyeshot, or so subtly that we don’t realize that radical change is in the works.

Someone I know was overweight for years (besides me). Then I did not see him for a couple of weeks, and when I did, he had lost most of his weight (if only that was me). I heard someone ask him the question that the rest of us were wondering: Did he have the stomach operation that facilitates quick weight loss? I thought yes, for sure.

But he said no. Instead he had been a diet for a while, and had lost the weight. As they say, it comes off the way it went on, meaning that a person loses weight in the reverse order that they gain it. Since his enlarged stomach had been the first added, it was the last to go.

As he continued to diet, he lost weight in places that most of us didn’t notice, so we didn’t think he was losing any weight. Eventually after losing all the other weight, he began to lose weight from his stomach, and when we saw him next, he finally looked the part. That should be encouragement to all dieters to stick it out, even if they can’t see many results in the beginning.

This is one of the messages of this week’s parsha. The story of Balak and Bilaam is amusing, but more than that, it is instructive. Why do we even need it? Because it reveals to us what we otherwise would not have known, that lots of history takes place beyond what we see, and G–D has our back. And because we should learn that, what we do see doesn’t just emerge out of thin air, but is the result of ideas and events that were set in motion without our being aware of them.

That’s why we end our Shemoneh Esrai with a prayer to G–D to foil the machinations of those who plan against us. We remind ourselves that G–D’s help goes far beyond what we recognize. And it reminds us, to not be so naive when it comes to the world around us, especially as Jews, and especially on this side of history. Especially at this stage of history.
If the Jewish people had kept this in mind, they might not have been duped by the Midianite women at the end of this week’s parsha. We’re not talking about being a conspiracy theorist. We’re talking about being on the alert against plots that can affect the Jewish people negatively, if for some reason we forfeit our Divine protection.

No one really focuses on this hugely important lesson or teaches it very much. It’s not ingrained in Jewish children or adults. And yet, clearly the failures in Jewish history can be attributed to our lack of perception of what COULD happen based upon what WAS happening.

Who is the wise person.
The one who sees what is being born. (Tamid 32a)

Anyone looking can SEE what is being born. It takes a wise person to see what it can evolve into. It also takes a non-biased one as well, because “bribes blind the eyes of the wise.” When what stands to be lost in a decision, is more real than what stands to be gained, the person will throw caution to the winds of change, and take the risk that so many millions over the millennia have regretted taking.

We’re watching that happen again today. Life in the Diaspora, but in particular in the United States, has reached that precarious point in history when a Jew has to decide: Is this the time to get out?

You can ask yourself the question, and you should. You can ask your neighbor what they think, and that can be good or bad. And you can ask a shailah from your Rav to get a halachic perspective on the matter, as you should. Not every opinion helps, but not enough opinions doesn’t.

But don’t forget to ask Jewish history, the most important opinion of all. How I wished my rabbis when I was growing up had told me, “Listen, we’re in the Diaspora for now, but it is exile, and the last one at that. Don’t forget it has to end at some time, and how in the past when it did, we were never ready for it. Go out and be successful, but always keep one eye down the road on the inevitability of a surprise ending, and be as ready for it as you can be.”

This is true, by the way, for Jews of every level of belief. Just go back 80 years, and you will see that when “they” came for us, they did not distinguish between one group of Jews, as we do. They saw us as G–D does: a Jew is a Jew is a Jew.
That’s not a RELIGIOUS fact.

It’s an HISTORICAL fact.
And we can assume that if, G–D forbid, “they” come for us again, they will act similarly. After all, they’re really only acting on behalf of G–D, and as part of the process of redemption. Yes, anti-Semitism may drive them on the surface, but as I have pointed out on so many different occasions, anti-Semitism is really G–D’s way of moving the pieces around, in particular, the Jewish pieces.

Depending upon who you are, what are your values, where you live, and what you believe you have to lose, you will either take this message to heart, or ignore, maybe even despise it. It won’t be the first time in Jewish history this has been the case. But this time, b”H, it will be the LAST.

Rabbi Kahana – Parashat Balak – The Power of Fear

BS”D Parashat Balak 5780
Rabbi Nachman Kahana

The Power of Fear

Balak, the would-be Hitler of the time, and Bil’am, his Goebbels, can be compared to the proverbial masochist and sadist; that when the masochist begged the sadist to hit him the sadist said “no”.
Balak gets trampled at a place called Bamot Ba’al when Bil’am blesses the Jewish nation.  But instead of dismissing him in anger and shame, Balak invites the sorcerer to Sedeh Tzofim from where he will be able to observe the Jewish nation from a different angle. Bil’am again frustrates Balak by blessing the Jews, who then for the third time asks Bil’am to see the encampment from yet another vantage point at Ba’al Pe’or. Here, once again HaShem uses Bil’am’s venomous mouth to bless the chosen nation.
On the premise that these two anti-Semites in the framework of their depravity are still somewhat rational, why did Balak continue with the Bil’am fiasco after his initial failure?
Answer:
Balak was a very shrewd, calculating, and devious goy. At station number one Bil’am instructs Balak to erect seven alters, upon which they offered up 7 bulls and 7 rams. During this ceremony Bil’am raises his arms and goes through several ‘magical’ contortions which in the past succeeded in bringing a curse upon his adversaries, but which on this occasion produced only blessings.
Balak quickly concluded that his situation was desperate and decided to make the best of it. At the time, the evil entourage was standing at a vantage point high on the summit of the Moabite mountain range (due east of the city of Bet Lechem on the western side of the Jordan) while the Jewish encampment was down on the Plains of Shitim near the Jordan  river. The cursers could see the Jews from their perch on the mountain and the Jews could see the royal entourage high above; but the Jews could not hear what they were saying. Nevertheless, they were able to deduce that something meaningful was happening because of the large number of sacrifices and the strange gyrations of a familiar figure, Bil’am. They concluded that they were being cursed by some spiritual incarnation or bewitchment.
Then fear began to seep into their hearts and minds, and they began questioning HaShem’s ability to protect them.
Balak assessed that this was the situation below in the Israelite camp and concluded that if he could not kill the Jews at this time, he would fill them with fear, weaken their self-confidence, and then attack.
So, he took Bil’am to a second and third place where the Jews could see the strange movements of this man and each time the fear would engulf the Jews. After the third time Balak decided that three doses of Bil’am were sufficient to paralyze the Jews and sent the vindictive Bil’am home in disgrace.  But not before Bil’am gave Balak a piece of advice.  That for the first time in the history of those “civilized” nations they should use their daughters as weapons of war, to entice the Jewish fighters and thereby arouse HaShem’s anger, which would lead to a Moabite military victory.
Balak understood that fear is a powerful weapon.  It destroys men and nations, annihilates, and devastates a nation’s courage to defend itself and eventually arouses in them the need to flee in panic.
The fact is, that the more intelligent the individual, the more susceptible he is to fear, because of his innate ability to see the dangers lurking right around the corner.

Do Not Falter in Fear

Eighty percent of the Jewish nation refused to leave Egypt with Moshe for fear of what is awaiting them in the treacherous desert, and they died in Egypt.
Goliath put fear into the hearts of the most courageous of Shaul’s soldiers, so that not even one Jew was willing to battle it out with the Philistine giant. Until one young man named David appeared without fright and felled the ominous Goliath.
In Devarim (chapter 20) the Torah directs our military officers to announce to the troops lined up before going into battle (Milchemet Reshut):
1 When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you. 2 When you are about to go into battle, the Kohen (Mashuach Milchama) shall come forward and address the army. 3 He shall say: Hear, Israel: Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them. 4 For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory (when the Kohen finishes the officers continue) 5 The officers shall say to the army: has anyone built a new house and not yet begun to live in it? Let him go home, or he may die in battle and someone else may begin to live in it. 6 Has anyone planted a vineyard and not begun to enjoy it? Let him go home, or he may die in battle and someone else enjoy it. 7 Has anyone become pledged to a woman and not married her? Let him go home, or he may die in battle and someone else marry her. 8 Then the officers shall add, is anyone afraid or fainthearted? Let him go home so that his fellow soldiers will not become disheartened too.
I suggest that the essential part of the officers’ “pep talk” is the sentence, “Is anyone afraid or fainthearted? Let him go home”, because fear is contagious; so better he should remove himself from the battle. And when the officers mention building a home or planting a vineyard or making a pledge to a woman, it is to disguise the real reason a soldier should leave, which is his fear, but could be understood as being in one of the above mentioned reasons, therefore saving anyone who left from embarrassment.
Medinat Yisrael is now on a crossroads of our future: annex or not? And if yes, how much and where? Many of the world’s leaders, each in his own manner of speech and threats, seek to instill fear in the hearts of our civilian and military personnel, that to annex would be suicidal.
It is a test by HaShem. Pressure was brought to bear on David ben Gurion not to declare independence in 1948. The US threatened and kept their word that they would place an arms embargo on the nascent State if he declared independence. But Ben Gurion and the majority of the yishuv’s heads voted for independence, and now we are 72 years old and standing tall among the leading nations of the world.
Menachem Begin was pressured to call off the air strike to destroy the Iraqi nuclear facility in Bagdad. He did not cave in, but during the long nerve-wracking hours that our planes were over the areas where the Talmud was written, he sat in isolation saying Tehillim. And when all the planes returned safely after completing their precarious mission, the whole nation and the sane part of humanity rejoiced because this man did not falter in fear.
At this time, I turn to our Prime Minister: “Bibi, from the courageous tribe of Levi, turn your face toward history. It is always easier to retreat and to escape into mediocrity and self-delusion;  but it takes the character of a Ben Gurion or Menachem Begin and all our forefathers and mothers to push the limits of courage and belief in HaShem ever further.
Do not fear nor tarry! Declare sovereignty over all of Yehuda and Shomron without extending Israeli citizenship to the foreigners and strangers occupying our lands.
HaShem, the Master of history, is holding the celestial quill ready to record for posterity your place in Jewish history – as redeemer or retreater. If you forge ahead, men of belief in HaShem will follow.  If you retreat you will walk alone.”

Wear Your Mask Not For The Virus But At The Request Of The Rabbis

Senior ultra-Orthodox rabbis call for vigilance over COVID-19 regulations
The ultra-Orthodox rabbinic leadership was slow to order synagogues, yeshivas and schools to close, a factor some believe contributed to the high infection rate in the community in the first wave. JPost

Several senior ultra-Orthodox rabbis have called on their communities to remain vigilant in their observance of regulations pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic, in light of the steep rise in infection rates, including in ultra-Orthodox community
.
At the beginning of the initial outbreak, the ultra-Orthodox rabbinic leadership, especially in the non-hassidic community, was slow to order synagogues, yeshivas and schools to close, a factor some believe contributed to the high infection rate in the community in the first wave. day sunlight could deactivate up to 90% of coronavirus strain - study.

On Tuesday however, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, the leading figure in the Ashkenazi, non-hassidic ultra-Orthodox community, issued a statement calling on people not to become lax in protecting public health.

“Since the coronavirus has been made more severe by Heaven, we must certainly awaken and strengthen ourselves in what the heart knows is the will of its soul, specifically to protect the holiness of our synagogues and study halls,” wrote Kanievsky.

“We must also remember that at this time the commandment upon us is to protect health as strictly as possible and God forbid to become relaxed about this.”

Meanwhile, Rabbi Meir Mazuz, a senior ultra-Orthodox Sephardi leader, decried what he said was people in the community trivializing the pandemic.

“People are disparaging the [danger of] coronavirus, and we must not do this, especially in places which observe Torah and religious commandments,” said the rabbi.

They are committing a sin against themselves and against others and against God, who commanded us to greatly protect our lives,” saying that someone who does not obey health guidelines also desecrates the name of God as well as endangers himself and others.

He also insisted that the closure imposed on the ultra-Orthodox city of Elad was justified due to the rate of infection there, and said those complaining of hate and discrimination against the ultra-Orthodox it were “fools.”

And one of the most senior rabbis in the radical Jerusalem Faction grouping, Rabbi Baruch Shmuel Deutsch, was critical of those in his community who have refused to wear masks.

The Jerusalem Faction is a splinter group from the mainstream ultra-Orthodox community and has become highly antagonistic to state authority since its split in 2013, including opposing social-distancing during the current epidemic.
In a recent speech in Modi'in Illit, reported by the Kicker Shabbat website, Deutsch criticized the politicization of the COVID-19 regulations and opined that the late leader of the Jerusalem Faction, Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach, would have backed the decision of other rabbis not to open yeshivas.

He also criticized people for not wearing masks. “I don’t see anyone wearing masks. Someone should stand up and explain what is preventing people from wearing masks,” he demanded. “It is absolutely awful. It’s childish.”

We need to keep drilling into the ears of American Jews that the time has come, if they want to save their lives. Listen to the video of https://www.brighteon.com/cbe6643f-f370-434f-b506-80b2ccf2f0b3
Celeste SolumShe told the listeners some of the crucial things to know.

Trump and his loyal military men can only do so much, they cannot be at every neighborhood or home to protect each and every Jew or non-Jew. The deep state demoncrats will not stop their manslaughter policies until they are eliminated. To say they will stop when Trump wins again, I believe, is incorrect. They will get even more drastic and cv”s blow something up with a missile or otherwise.

If HaShem really means to end the American generosity given to the surviving Shoah Jews In order to build up religious life again, the correct way, we are watching it now. Otherwise Trump will be able to vanquish the evil, al pi Shamayim, and enable Mashiach to enter the scene. It seems that is likely.

We need to watch with spiritual eyes what is unfolding to see the redemption in real time

Pyromaniacs Are At it Again – Extremely Far Reaching Line of BLAZING FIRE in Kochav HaShachar and Maaleh Shlomo in Binyamin!

Spate of massive arson attacks endangers residents and livestock
Dozens of residents and 6 fire crews work to extinguish huge fire near Kochav Hashachar in Binyamin that threatened residents' homes.
A massive fire raged last night near the communities of Kochav Hashachar and Ma'aleh Shlomo in Binyamin, threatening to destroy a number of residential houses. Local residents say it is the latest in a series of fires set deliberately by Arabs currently squatting in the area. They say fires are set twice a week for the past two months while authorities are unable to catch the arsonist.

Firefighters, along with dozens of teenagers, worked for about 3 hours to extinguish the blaze.

Fire and Rescue Commander Shlomo Mizrahi told Hakol Hayehudi: "This is a fire in an open area in the wadi between the Kochav Hashachar and Rimonim communities. The front of the fire spread with the wind and stretches for two to three kilometers. Six firefighting teams from Binyamin with fire extinguishers and residents assisted the work. The fire was extinguished by beating it out due to the mountainous terrain," Mizrahi said.

Firefighting and Rescue Services added: "This area is recognized as open space which is an important nature reserve and rich animal habitat."

It is suspected that this fire was deliberately ignited by Arabs for the tenth time in recent weeks.

"Arabs are trying to burn us, but as far as the State of Israel and the security system are concerned, it isn't a terror attack at all. As long as they are not treated as terrorism for intents and purposes, these horrible fires will continue," an area resident said.

"One has to understand," the resident continues, "any such fire, besides the fact that it endangers lives and could seriously damage the community, buildings, and more, actually destroys vast pasture land and harms shepherds and farmers in a severe and absolute manner.”

Bennett: “Civil Coronavirus Cabinet”

Naftali Bennett announced that he was establishing a "civil coronavirus cabinet" consisting of health, epidemiology, and business experts. Bennett strongly criticized the government and official Coronavirus Cabinet's handing of the pandemic.

"The State of Israel is experiencing a worsening economic crisis, the worst in its history. The civil coronavirus cabinet is ready to help in decision making and in promoting actions to save the livelihood of Israel's citizens while also maintaining their health," Bennett said. ArutzSheva

Today Bennett Advises:

Former Defense Minister Yamina Chairman Naftali Bennett urges the public to conduct themselves as befitting a second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

"The epidemic is back, big-time; contagion is very high. We have passed the first wave's highs," Bennett claimed, opening an update this morning.

He says, "Just being infected with coronavirus in young people usually works out fine. The problem is when it passes to the elderly. Don't be impressed by the currently low number of sick and dead patients; there's usually a three-week gap between infection and morbidity and deaths."

"So I ask that when you go to visit grandparents you meet them outside, in the garden, in the yard, in the open air. The chance of contagion in the open air is a fraction of that in a closed room. If it still has to be indoors, open windows and doors and turn on a fan; the ventilation dramatically reduces the chance of getting infected," he claimed.

Bennett added,

"That's why I ask, so that we can continue to open the country, guard the vulnerable, the weak, guard your grandparents and meet them in the open air. Don't underestimate coronavirus, it's not a conspiracy, it's a real thing. We don't deny coronavirus, but we can deal with it together.” arutzsheva

What does “Recovered” mean? Who are the “Recovered”?
How does the test show “Recovered”?

Prof. Yoram Lass, the former director general of the Ministry of Health:

"As you do more tests, you find more people - who are healthy - testing positive. And the government insists on calling them sick. There was a social phenomenon here because of the virus of social networks, which really brainwashed the entire world.” arutzsheva

Watch for Fire Works, But Not the 4th of July Kind!

A while back I said that Trump most-likely does not know what (about the Land of Israel) is really in the “Deal”. He left it up graciously to his son-in-law. And I said that he would not agree with Kushner. Now, it appears in the JPost:

"As for what Trump is likely to announce, Axios reported that he has soured on Kushner’s advice, because his son-in-law and adviser has been too liberal and hurt him politically. The site quoted a source as saying the president wants “no more of Jared’s woke s***,” woke being a slang term for progressive or politically correct. Kushner is thought to favor a more gradual sovereignty move by Israel. The article focused mostly on criminal justice reform, but allowing Israel to extend its sovereignty is strongly opposed by the Left worldwide, which is one way in which it could appeal to Trump."

[I believe that this is in response to what Mike Evans said a couple days ago about “the Land belongs to the Jews” So the above could be in response to that.]

[…T]he term “Annexation” has an entirely different meaning and connotation than “Sovereignty”.

Many parts of the Israeli media, we find, are directly and indirectly using scare tactics to try and prevent implementation of the Israel law east of the Green Line. The word “annexation” is bandied around. As any legal resource, easily located online, indicates, annexation is an administrative action relating to the forcible acquisition of one state’s territory by another state and is generally held to be an illegal act. Since a Palestinian state does not exist, nor has it ever, Israel will not be annexing Judea and Samaria, since the territory in question does not “belong” to any other state. True, many, especially in Europe, already today consider Judea and Samaria as belonging to the Palestinian Authority and for them, this is the vision of the two-state solution. JPost (By YISRAEL MEDAD, ELI POLLAK)

Wikipedia on Sovereignty: "Sovereignty is the full right and power of a governing body over itself, without any interference from outside sources or bodies. ... In international law, sovereignty is the exercise of power by a state.”

Mike Evans:

“The Bible talks about the land that the Jewish people are living on, the land which the Jew haters call ‘settlements’ and ‘illegal,’” Dr. Mike Evans, founder of Friends of Zion Museum and a member of the Trump Faith Initiative said in an interview with The Jerusalem Post, a day before the expected publication of the plan to resolve the conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians.

“What the president is saying is that America does not believe the Bible is illegal,” he said. For many, the plan is a geopolitical matter that will likely present the first ever public US vision of Israel’s final borders.

But for the up to 80 million Christian Zionists in the US, this has less to do with borders and more to do with God.

“Our base will be weeping” with joy at the plan’s formal reveal about the prominence of the Bible, he said. Evans revealed that in private briefings both with the president’s peace team and the president himself, he learned that, “the plan does not take away the major biblical sites, and this is everything we were hoping for – everything.”

This is NOT what Kushner did.
Further on Mike Evans:

Evans runs the organization “Jerusalem Prayer Team,” which has close to 70 million followers on Facebook. The organization’s purpose is to encourage Christians all over the world to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” as well as to inform them about developments in Israeli politics from a Christian perspective.

According to the website, Jerusalem is important because “most all prophecy points to Jerusalem and the end times; the new Temple being built, the Antichrist, the Battle of Armageddon and the 144,000 Evangelists. When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem we are praying for the Lord to return. ‘So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.’”

Evans was behind the dozens of billboards that went up around Jerusalem in May 2017 urging Trump to “Make Israel Great.” The purpose of the billboards was to remind Trump of his election promise to evangelicals to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Evans told the Times of Israel. Trump announced the move several months later in December 2017.

Evans is also responsible for the Friends of Zion Heritage Center, a multimedia museum in central Jerusalem dedicated to the history of the friendship of non-Jews toward Jews and Israel. Evans said that “100 percent” of the funding for the museum comes from evangelicals and that the “Friends of Zion” center is in the process of expanding its campus to nine buildings.

These will house a recently opened media center dedicated to teaching journalists about Israel, an Ambassador Institute to teach 100,000 Christian “ambassadors” to advocate for Israel abroad, as well as a communications center that will teach online activists to fight against the anti-Israel Boycott, Divest, Sanctions (BDS) movement and other perceived anti-Israel activity on social media.

[…] Evans told The Times of Israel that the Friends of Zion Heritage Center is not involved in missionary activity; Evans was in the past criticized for zealous efforts to convert Jews to Christianity.

“That’s not our purpose, our purpose is combating anti-Semitism,” Evans said. “All of our staff is Jewish. I believe anti-Semitism is the root problem that Israel is faced with [vis-a-vis] its enemies. If you can take the anti-Semitism out you can solve the Iran problem and the Palestinian problem.” timesofisrael

More From Mike Evans

There is no question in my mind that President Trump will support Israel in its sovereignty plan. He understands how strongly evangelicals feel about the Bible, and the issue of the Peace Plan is not really relevant at this moment, because there's something that trumps the Peace Plan. It's called the election. If the President does not win, the plan goes in the trash in Israel.

Biden will be listening to Bernie Sanders and J Street. Israel must heavily weigh the possibility of that in considering their decisions. As evangelicals, we want Israel to move forward with all sovereignty over all Bible lands, and not just have a phased plan. If Israel does not annex Judea and Samaria before a Democrat is elected President, they won't be able to at all.

America has never had a President more pro-Israel than Donald Trump. He will continue to support Israel as he has in the last three years. The ball is in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's hands. He has the Trump card. Israel's security is totally contingent upon the high ground. They cannot afford to negotiate over their security in Judea and Samaria.

A Palestinian State will never have airspace, an army, or treaties. Israel needs to define what territory is acceptable to Israel as a Palestinian State and do it unilaterally. The Sunni world is fed up with wasting money on the Palestinian mafia. Sure, there will be unhappy campers, but they were unhappy when Israel recognized Jerusalem. It's time for Jerusalem to seize the opportunity while Donald Trump is still President.

The Palestinians should decide for themselves if they want an autonomous region. But for that to happen, they must resolve the T question—terrorists, especially with Hamas and Islamic Jihad arutzsheva

[Since they will never give up terrorism, and since the Land belongs to the Yehudim/Jews, it won’t happen]

Dr. Mike Evans is the founder of the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem

REDEFINING YOUR FOOD

Redefining Food:
There are test tube babies, now there is test tube food.
Coming to Your Restaurant and the Israeli food industry
Israeli startup will test 3-D printed steaks in high-end restaurants.  The company makes what it calls Alt-Steak with industrial-scale 3-D food printers using its plant-based formulations. JPost

Redefine Meat announced Tuesday that it would begin testing its vegan steaks in high-end restaurants ahead of a more large-scale distribution. The company makes what it calls Alt-Steak with industrial-scale 3-D food printers using its plant-based formulations. By printing with multiple materials, Redefine says it can create “sustainable, high-protein, no-cholesterol steaks that look, cook, and taste like beef.”

The product has a 95 percent smaller environmental impact than producing actual beef, the company says.

Redefine plans to sell its 3-D meat printers and alt-meat formulations to restaurants beginning in 2021. The restaurants can print steaks to be softer or harder, or juicier with less fat, for example. The worldwide market for meat alternatives is expected to reach $140 billion annually, according to the company.

DC Protestors Threaten Amazon’s Bezos with a Guillotine – Jews Need to Pay Attention to This

THIS IS THE MOST BIZARRE EVENT I HAVE EVER POSTED ABOUT: Whether jesting or not, this is scary business. Many Jews thought they were safe in Germany; they were so assimilated the impossible was not even considered. This  began in 5 states, will it spread to other states, will people just give in???

[as the camera pans around you can see the protestors sitting on the ground plus the cameraman set-up]
Abolish Amazon: DC Protesters Set Up ‘Guillotine’ Outside of Jeff Bezos’ House
According to a number of videos posted to social media, protesters in DC placed a model guillotine in front of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’ Washington complex. A flyer for the event stated “End the abuse and profiteering. Abolish the police, the prisons, and Amazon.” A number of videos have been posted to social media that appear to show protesters placing a model guillotine in front of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’ Washington complex. Alongside the guillotine is a sign reading “support our poor communities, not our wealthy men.” breitbart
Is this not enough to scare the Jews into Teshuva and Out of America!
Deep source document describes thousands of guillotines being pre-positioned across America
[W]e have acquired a document from a deep background source that details estimated counts of guillotines being pre-positioned across America, ready to be deployed to mass murder conservatives, Christians, Whites and Trump supporters who end up in FEMA camps. Why guillotines? It’s the symbol of the socialist left-wing French Revolution which used guillotines to mass murder thousands of political “dissidents,” followed by the murder of revolutionaries. naturalnews
you can skip this video but not the one following this:

According to this document, thousands of guillotines have already been placed in storage under the control of military bases and FEMA camps.

*The Police Need To Be Policed

This is an awful story of abuse of a minor, not by the Arabs, but by Israeli Police, the Yevsektsiya of a modern (democratic) socialist government.  arutzsheva

On Thursday, police arrested three Jewish boys on suspicion of disturbing public order in the Muslim Quarter in Jerusalem after dozens of Arabs began to gather around them.

Testimony from one of the boys shows that the police used severe violence against Epstein and that he was deprived of basic rights such as providing him with food and water and giving notice of his arrest to his parents.

On Monday night, a video of the boy's interrogation was also leaked by police and Attorney Itamar Ben Gvir addressed it. "We understand that the police are under pressure, but it's a video that was edited by the police from the interrogation room in violation of the law, and questioning a minor is against the youth law."

"No one can explain why the minor wasn't imprisoned in a juvenile detention center, why he was forced to sleep on a bench, why he was cuffed - even if the police claim it was 'only' for five hours "- it is time for the Jerusalem Police to take responsibility for mistakes instead of using the best known defense which is to attack, certainly not against a minor," Ben Gvir added.

Epstein, a 14-year-old minor, was arrested while walking with his friends around the gates of the Temple Mount as he does every Thursday. "We were in the Muslim Quarter, about twenty guys," he said. "About fifty Arabs arrived and started making trouble."

"The Arabs came in numbers and started beating us," he added. At that time, about five Border Police officers who were at the scene approached the boys and demanded they go away. "We told them, why are you kicking us out and not them? We didn't agree to move and we lay down on the ground, so they told us it was an illegal gathering. We got up and they asked us to start walking, we walked slowly and they started to push us. They pushed hard."

He said, "Towards the Shechem Gate, there was trouble again. They started to kick us, they lifted me by my hands and legs. I told them that I live here and you can't take me from where I live. I told them I wanted to go in, we were already at Shechem Gate and then they caught me, a Border Policeman and Border Policewoman, and took me."

The two Border Police officers asked him to give them his personal phone. When he did not comply, they began pushing their hands into his pockets. "The Border Policewoman put her hand in my pocket to take the phone, and I told her she was harassing me."

"I explained to them that I'm shomer negiah (halakhic prohibition of physical contact between men and women who are not married to one another, ed.) and I suggested that I won't resist but I'll go with the Border Policeman at his own pace, with only him holding me. At one point, the Border Policeman started running with me and I fell. He dragged me," he said.

The boy and the police officers who caught him arrived at the Jerusalem Border Police building. "I came to Beit Eliyahu, where they made sure no one was filming and slammed the door shut. Another Border Policeman came and choked me, he grabbed me by the throat and a third Border Policeman threw his hand away from me. I told him I couldn't breathe and then he pulled me. They kicked me, started beating me."

Epstein further described the harsh violence directed against him. "He put me in the toilet, came in himself and locked the door. He put me against the wall and kicked me in the legs. I thought he was going to murder me, I'm not kidding," he said. "He kept beating me and at one point he pulled me out and flung me on the chair."

When Epstein asked for water, they replied that they had run out of water bottles. Around 22:00 he was transferred to the Jerusalem District headquarters building, the "Kishla" building.

Even there, 14-year-old Epstein testified, he received disgraceful treatment as he was forced to stay in the waiting room handcuffed all night, without food and water and without his parents being notified of his arrest. "A detention cell was occupied so they left me in the waiting room all night and didn't let me talk to my parents," he said. "They handcuffed my hands and my feet, until I arrived in court at 11:30 on Friday."

He says "the other detainee who was with me asked to go to the bathroom and the Border Police came in with him and watched him urinate."

"At night, they didn't bring me any food, and in the morning I couldn't eat what they brought me because I don't eat that kashrut. They told me it was kosher and I had to eat it," Epstein said.

Epstein finally signed a release under restrictive conditions, distanced from the place for 60 days. He intends to appeal the restraining order and to file a complaint with the Police Investigations Division against the police.

The Israel Police said: "The Israeli police strictly observe the rights and dignity of interrogees and detainees alongside the need to investigate the truth and to comply with the law, as was the case here."

"The suspect arrived in the Old City area with others who began to violate the public order in the place, fighting with local residents and police officers and subsequently the suspect was arrested for questioning for disorderly conduct in a public place, interfering with a policeman, and behavior that could violate public peace, and in the morning he was brought to court and released subject to conditions," police said.

It was also reported, "The Israeli police will act resolutely against anyone who interferes with police officers in their work and violates public order while harming others.”
