The March of the Six Million

 

 Many years ago while Rav Shlomo Carlebach zt"l was still alive, I heard his masterpiece, The Krakow Niggun for the first time.  It started off as a funeral dirge for the 6 million who died in the Shoah, and then it became a March.  As he himself explains in the preface for the song, the last song on Cassette tapes only version of his "Shabbos with Shlomo" Album, that while the Niggun starts out as a funeral dirge, the Gilgulim of the 6 million Jews who were snuffed out in the Shoah will be in Yerushalayim to welcome Mashiach and the Messianic Era.
