I just finished my Tu BiShevat seder and thanked Hashem for the beautiful fruits of the field, and for the Trees that at one time were actually also edible. We Jews thank Hashem, the Creator of the World, in all His Majesty, for all His creations.

But, then I hear on my favorite Talk Radio program, the following:

Australia targeted for . . .

'Forest Fire' jihad?

AUSTRALIA has been singled out as a target for "forest jihad" by a group of Islamic extremists urging Muslims to deliberately light bushfires as a weapon of terror.

US intelligence channels earlier this year identified a website calling on Muslims in Australia, the US, Europe and Russia to "start forest fires", claiming "scholars have justified chopping down and burning the infidels' forests when they do the same to our lands".
The entire township of Marysville has been destroyed by fire. All buildings have been burnt to the ground except for one. The Cumberland Resort and Villa Day Spa has been utterly destroyed and Ann, the owner, lost her father in the fire. The people there have been evacuated to Alexandra and other areas, and are basically homeless. I am deeply saddened by this sudden tragedy… May Hashem help the poor victims of the fire."

Fire at S.anta Barbara Chabad

A fire ripped through parts of the Chabad House at University of California at S. Barbara, leaving it with extensive damage. According to Capt. We need to storm the Shomayim 

with our own fire, the fire of Tefillah, 

and beg Hashem to bring the scales of justice against those who would wreak hate and destruction on innocent people.
