What in the World are we going to do?

We need to be a little rational about this, but the simanim (hints, signs) are increasing and unceasing in scope. 

What would you do if the American economy went bankrupt?

Do you realize what that would mean?

Do you think the IMF* would be able to bail us out?

Or could we just keep on going in a very limited way, like other countries 

who have defaulted on their loans, limping with a crippled economy?
