We Are All Waiting for Moshiach to Bring us Home to Eretz HaKodesh
(unless you’re Going Home sooner)
Even Rav Mordechai Eliyahu Shlit"a is getting impatient.
WE ARE ALL FULL OF WISHFUL WISHING!
I must admit that the stimulus for this post is owed to
Nava of Dreaming
for her great post on the Mystical Shield of Moshiach
plus her recent prolific entries.
For some time I have been enamored by the story of the Abir Aluf.
Whenever one speaks about Moshiach, the Abir pops into my mind.
I’m not saying this as a prophecy, but only that several puzzle pieces come together in the Abir (Torah, strength, yerusha).
I submit the following, written so eloquently by Rabbi Lazer Brody,
where you can find more inspiration on his award-winning blog
full of emuna scroll down to read.
It is amazing to gaze at Mori Yehoshua Sofer shlit'a, the Abir Aluf, dressed in traditional *Habani-Yemenite-Jewish garb, a member of the Habani Jews, and to watch him perform the ancient traditions of his family that go back as far as the FIRST BEIT HAMIKDASH.
Torah, the Prophets, Gemorra, Jewish ethics, Zohar,
the Tosefos, and the Malbim. It is amazing how he
answers questions known by heart as if the volumes
are open in front of him.
The Abir tradition: this secret was preserved in the *Sofer family whose documented lineage goes back 100 generations
to the FIRST HOLY TEMPLE.
Abir, the traditional Israelite combat art that goes back to our forefather Abraham. The Aluf knows a variety of techniques, and the source of each technique in the Torah, i.e. Naftali tribal combat style, the combat style of the Tribe of Asher based on its tribal symbol the olive tree, combat style of the Tribe of Dan, and for each of the 12 tribes.
On his clothing he wears the The Starflower: an amazing vision that the Aluf had during Hitbodedut (meditation, personal prayer). Notice the motif, a resemblance of the Star of David that Rav Kaduri zt"l referenced in his descriptions of Moshiach's clothing. Visit here to learn more about the Abir and the
Starflower.
King David killed a lion and a bear at age three, as a lone shepherd in the wilderness. As Hashem's anointed, he was not only a monumental Torah scholar, but a fierce fighter that spent every available minute in personal prayer. People find it hard to believe when the Zohar says that Israel is the fiercest of the nations.
(A recent example of Israeli courage is found on Akiva's Mystical Paths, where you can read about the leopard
that was wrestled down by an Israeli,
after jumping thru an open window and onto his family
while they were all sleeping. Amazing!
Only an Israeli and an Israeli Leopard.)

*The Habanis of north Yemen preserved an unbroken chain of Abir since the destruction of the second Temple nearly 2000 years ago. Fiercely loyal to their faith, the Habani Jews never assimilated. Of all the Habani clans, the Sofer family was the most proficient and well known both in Torah scholarship - especially the esoteric - and in Abir warrior arts. Don't be surprised - Hebrew warrior arts go hand-in-hand with holiness and Kabbala; you can't be a true Abir warrior unless you keep yourself on a lofty plane of personal holiness and Torah scholarship.
Thank you Rabbi Brody Shlit"a for having such a wonderful friend as the Abir Aluf, and to our blogging community for keeping their EYES OPEN FOR SIGNS.

MONEY IS IN THE AIR . . . really!
The Smell of Money is in the Air . . .
The world's third-largest tourism corporation, BCD Travel,
is launching operations in Israel. Its operations totaled
$12 BILLION in 2006.
"THE ISRAELI MARKET HAS GREAT BUSINESS POTENTIAL FOR US,"
said John A Fentener van Vlissingen, BCD's chairman.
"Many international companies operate in Israel, making Israel
an important business center in the Middle East and in the world.
Danny Sade - Israel Money
This compares to the dozen or so new banks that have set up shop on every corner in
a heavily Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn. No residential neighborhood has as many
banks as downtown Manhattan!?
I know it's good for business,
but do we really want
all those tourists all over;
I mean,
why aren't all the Jews GOING HOME?

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
One very inciting blogger asked:
DOES G-D GUIDE LIBERALISM?
Of course, whichever way the historical wind blows
is because Hashem wants it to go that way (one of our ikkarim).
The Baal HaTanya ruled that it was better the Jews stay in Russia
(with religious oppression) rather than be liberated by Napoleon
(to live in freedom)?
AND
Some of the Rabbis of WWII preferred that yidden
go to "Amerika" instead of Eretz HaKodesh because
America was a nation of chessed?
The first choice of direction (Baal HaTanya) was to save
the “spiritual lives of Jews” and the second choice (after WWII)
was similar to Yaakov Avinu’s sending ahead his sons to
create a Yeshiva / Beis Medrash environment – where the
spiritual lives of the Jews immigrating would have more of
a chance of surviving. They foresaw that religious life in Israel
would be very difficult to maintain, and it was a place for
only the very strong in Emuna.
From 1776 onward the foundation was being created
for the immigration of the remaining remnants of
Jews after WWs I and II.
It was the Satmar Rebbe, the Holy Rebbe Yoel zt"l,
who with his vision (again) saw that it was not yet the time
for yidden to rush to Eretz HaKodesh, with some of the
most difficult wars to be waged against religious life to come.
American Jews have been placed in this mileau of 'freedom'
so close to the end of this golus, in order for them to
CHOOSE HASHEM over all the gashmius (and current-day idols),
in order for Elokim to reveal Moshiach and bring us finally HOME.
The decline of this American golus became noticeable between
1960-70 (with America’s waterloo being Vietnam),
while the focus for Jews turned to Israel, which generated
a more serious movement of immigration to Israel.
I think the religious wars of Jew vs. Jew are waning,
because of the external threat (the prodding finger of Hashem)
meant to push Jews closer to one another.
At least this is what should happen, but if it doesn’t . . . .
Today, with America disintegrating in front of our eyes,
one only has to look around to see the demise of liberalism's
purpose.
So, where does Jewry go next?
The brave, courageous, and those filled with Emuna
are GOING HOME!

THE GATES ARE OPEN
SHAAREI RACHAMIM
While the time between Pesach and Shavuos is like a whole long Chol Hamoed*,
and during this time there is more rachamim even than from Elul to Yom Kippur,
BETWEEN 14 IYAR and 21 IYAR is the time of greatest rachamim**,
and we can daven (pray) and it's like Neilah,
THE GATES ARE OPEN TO OUR TEFILLOS.
Starting tonite also is the Yahrzeit of Rabbi Meir Baal Hanes
beginning this time of great rachamim. A little tzedaka in this pushka
in Rabbi Meir's merit would be most fitting to encourage a return,
a return of our pure neshomas back to Hashem, Av HaRachamim.
(AND a return HOME to our homeland and the homeland of our Avos,
which we are also reading each Shabbos during this time of rachamim.
So interesting how all these things dovetail).
May all our Tefillos be answered L'Tov

Rabbis discuss the halachik borders for the Land of Israel
I think some of the Rabbis are part of the 'Sanhedrin' of Jerusalem But its very hard to hear what they are saying and what it might...
