Maran Rabbeinu Shlit"a after the circumcision ceremony last night: 'We have powers that the Iranians do not have, we are stronger than them'
Last night, Maran Posk Hador HaGari Zilberstein Shlit"a served as godfather at the circumcision ceremony in his beit midrash, when he later delivered short words of encouragement, the following words are courtesy of Divrei Hemed | Watch the recording:
Last night (Sunday, Tuesday of the third week of Passover) Maran Rabbeinu Shlit"a served as godfather at the circumcision ceremony for the grandson of the head of the congregation, Rabbi Avraham Pollak Shlit"a. When he later ascended the stage of the Ark of the Covenant and delivered short words of encouragement on matters of the day, in the shadow of the war:
"The nations of the world are plotting and saying very clear things, they want... and especially they want Bnei Brak, that's what these Amalekites have decided. We are not afraid of them. We have powers that they do not have. Our powers, this is our beit midrash.
"The grandfather who will be healthy works day and night so that the voice of the Torah will not cease from here. We have weapons that they don't have, what kind? Here in the Beit Midrash there is no talk of God, everyone only tries to worship God, there is love and brotherhood here of the greatest degree.
"We say to the Gentiles: We are stronger than you. You may have big 'bombs', but we have things greater than your 'bombs'."
"There is the child who is now circumcised, and the grandfather who will be healthy, they don't have such children and such covenants, we have that, we are not afraid of them, we want only one thing, to sanctify his great name, and that the child will be great in the Torah and the Lord, the grandfather deserves all the good in the world.
"We here want one thing, love and brotherhood and peace and companionship, that the honor of the Lord will increase, and that we all will have all the good, and that we will merit instead of these bombs, to hear the voice of the Torah, voices of disagreement in the Torah, this we want and this will be, and we say Amen."
