Israel’s Supreme Court is set to address a petition concerning Jewish access to the Temple Mount on Shabbat. Rabbi David Bar-Hayim joins me to discuss why this could be especially significant this year, with the first day of Sukkot falling on Shabbat, and what the continuing changes on Har HaBayit may mean for the Jewish people.
Then Rabbi Bar-Hayim makes a striking argument: the Third Temple will not simply fall from heaven — the Jewish people are commanded to build it. We discuss whether it even matters if we can prove that we are living in the beginning of the Geulah, why he believes the obligations of Torah do not wait for Moshiach, and whether the changes now taking place on the Temple Mount could be part of something much bigger unfolding.
