34The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah the king of Judah, saying:
35So said the Lord of Hosts: Behold I am breaking the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.
36And I will bring against Elam four winds from the four ends of the heavens, and I will scatter them to all these winds, and there shall be no nation where the exiles of Elam shall not come.
37And I will break Elam before their enemies and before those who seek their lives, and I will bring upon them evil-the kindling of My wrath, says the Lord, and I will send the sword after them until I completely destroy them.
38And I will place My throne in Elam and I will destroy from there a king and princes, says the Lord.
39And it shall be at the end of days, [that] I will return the captivity of Elam, says the Lord.
