From Jerusalem, we discussed a critical question facing conservatives today: What is happening to the American right when it comes to Jews and Israel?
For years, we have watched Jew-hating antisemitism spread through the radical left and the red-green alliance between radical progressive movements and radical Islamists. But today, Jew-hating antisemitism is also becoming increasingly visible among elements of the political right.
We specifically discussed Candace Owens, her break with The Daily Wire, the rhetoric surrounding Jews and Israel, and the dangerous normalization of ideas that conservatives should be confronting rather than ignoring.
This is bigger than left versus right.
It is about Israel, America, Western civilization, Biblical values upon which the freedom-loving West was founded, jihadi Islam, and the future of the conservative movement.
That is why this conversation in Jerusalem was so important.
Jeremy and I may come from different backgrounds, but we share a desire to protect the countries we love. The intent of this conversation is ultimately to help save both of our countries by identifying the ideological threats confronting them and refusing to remain silent.
America needs a strong Israel. Israel needs a strong America. Both nations need God. And both need people willing to stand against Jew-hating antisemitism, whether it comes from the left, the right or jihadi Muslims.
