Kushner Is Wrong on Gaza

 

Jared Kushner says Israelis are being “a little irrational” about Gaza. Then he admits: “We’re now starting to understand the scope of the militarization of Gaza. It is beyond your comprehension.” NOW starting to understand, after October 7, after nearly three years of war, after IDF soldiers uncovered Hamas tunnels, weapons caches, and command centers under homes, mosques, hospitals, and schools across the Gaza Strip? Then Kushner says something else: “We worked with Hamas for over four months.” Hamas supposedly signed a deal to demilitarize. Seriously? Hamas planned and carried out the October 7 massacre. It is a jihadist terror organization sworn to Israel’s destruction. You do not negotiate our children’s future with Islamonazis. You defeat them. Washington spent months talking to Hamas, now admits it is only beginning to grasp how militarized Gaza really was — and still calls Israelis irrational for refusing another “demilitarization” promise. Kushner has it backward. The old Gaza paradigm is dead. In 2005 Israel expelled nearly 10,000 Jews, destroyed 21 communities in Gush Katif, and pulled every soldier out of Gaza. We were promised peace. We got Hamas, rockets, terror tunnels, and October 7. Never again. That awakening is already in this Israeli election: Itamar Ben-Gvir’s push for a ministry to facilitate Gazan emigration; Ofer Winter; Moshe Feiglin; Netanyahu’s appointment of Gila Gamliel after President Trump raised relocation in January 2025. Avida Bechar of Kibbutz Be’eri, wife and son murdered on October 7, from the peace-seeking envelope — says Israelis will never be safe if one jihadi remains in Gaza. That is not irrational. That is October 7 clarity. Use American leverage on Egypt to open Rafah for those who leave. Destroy Hamas and every jihadist army. Correct 2005. Rebuild Jewish Gaza, bigger and stronger than Gush Katif. Jewish homes, fields, children, and yes, a beachfront in Jewish Gaza. We are not the irrational ones. Ignoring 1,400 years of jihad against non-Muslims is irrational. Strengthen your faith. Strengthen your Jewish identity. Strengthen your bond to our God-given ancestral homeland. Am Yisrael is coming home.
