The son of Natanel Shkron, who was murdered in a terrorist attack after immersing himself in the Ein Raya spring ahead of Yom Kippur, eulogized him: "Thank you, Dad, for saving me"
JERUSALEM (VINnews) – Thousands of mourners gathered Motzaei Yom Kippur in Alei Zahav for the 11 p.m. funeral of Netanel Shakron, a father of six who was killed in a terror shooting at a natural spring near Neve Tzuf in the West Bank.
Shakron had gone to the spring with his 16-year-old son, Yoav, to immerse in the water ahead of Yom Kippur, in keeping with Jewish tradition.
When the gunman opened fire, Shakron warned his son seconds before he was shot, allowing Yoav to escape unharmed.
