Am Yisrael Not Chai — Haredim Make a Large Molech Sacrifice
Rectifying the worst mistake I ever made. I don't care if it makes people angry.
As I’ve said many times, you cannot begin to talk about fighting our external enemies when you are led by internal enemies.
Thanks to readers for bringing this to our attention. It's still not being reported in the Israeli "media". From Hamas/AlQuds social media:
There are other soldiers, some of them burned, in a scene reminiscent of the Puma armored personnel carrier incident in Khan Yunis.
The 97th Battalion of the Nahal Brigade (Netzach Yehudah*) was the target of the major ambush.
6 soldiers killed in an ambush in northern Gaza, and more than 10 others injured.
- Qassam fighters knew the route the military convoy was traveling, as well as the supply and rescue routes.
- Qassam fighters attacked soldiers in Beit Hanoun that night with explosive devices, RPG rockets, machine guns, and mortar shells.
- Qassam fighters contributed to the thwarting of the rescue of the soldiers, as their bodies were burned inside a tank that fell into a minefield prepared by Hamas in advance.
*Netzach Yehudah is the 97th battalion in the Kfir brigade. Not Nachal as stated by Hamas.
Thank God for the Arab media, which, despite being odious, is ironically more trustworthy, and contains many more details than our censored fake media provides.
Congratulations to the haredi world for making their largest Molech sacrifice to date. It's about time you shared the burden of the Dati Leumi Molech worshippers, though you still have a lot of catching up to do.
Is it still not the time to ask questions? Because I have lots and lots of questions. I have some uncomfortable answers, too, but if you'd rather just keep doing more of the same, there are lots more death traps, moving state ceremonies, and fake victories waiting for you. Am Yisrael Chai!
Our controlled fake media is just starting to catch up. Here’s one report:
https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-860315
The Netzah Yehuda Association expressed its condolences, stating: "We bow our heads in honor of the fallen soldiers of the Netzah Yehuda Battalion who gave their lives in battle in the northern Gaza Strip. With broken hearts, we stand alongside the families in mourning the loss of their brave sons—fighters who selflessly risked their lives for the people of Israel."
Who runs the Netzah Yehuda Association, and who pays them? Here's your answer. The IDF = the Defense Ministry = the Erev Rav State. https://nahalharedi.org/
Here's the actual truth: These soldiers, like so many Molech sacrifices before them, did not give their lives in battle. They were not battling for anything. They were not even killed in the act of fighting. They were ambushed in a carefully orchestrated death trap, and died as helpless sitting ducks — for nothing.
These young men did not give their lives for the people of Israel. There was no purpose to their being there that served the Jewish people. The people of Israel benefited in no way from their "service". They were not killed in a milchemes mitzvah. They did not die al kiddush Hashem. They are not kedoshim who are going straight to heaven for some holy sacrifice. They are well-meaning fools who paid the ultimate price for their foolishness.
They are partially responsible for the reckless, un-Torah choices that led to their meaningless deaths, and will receive no heavenly reward for it. If they are fortunate, their horrible pointless deaths will be sufficient atonement for the reckless, suicidal decisions they made that preceded it.
And you know who else is partially responsible? You. For supporting this. For encouraging it. For demanding it. For praying for all the wrong things. The Erev Rav regime couldn't have gotten away with this for so long without your support.
I don't care if this makes people angry. Get angry. It's about time you got angry. You cowards are too brainwashed to get angry at the right people, let alone do something about it. So mourn the dead, get angry at me for telling you the harsh truth, and make more Molech sacrifices. These definitely won't be the last.
Rectify the Tefilla for Tzahal (December 29, 2020)
I've been meaning to write this article for years, and am remiss for having waited this long.
The voice of Yaacov is the primary weapon of the Jewish people, as opposed to the sword of Eisav. I will assume the reader already knows this and does not need a compendium of sources to prove something so elementary. However, it is easy for us to lose sight of the delicate nature of prayer. As with any mitzvah, there are boundaries and guidelines that must be studied to ensure not only that our prayers are effective, but that they are not counterproductive.
It is for this reason that the Anshei Knesses Hagedola arranged the Shemoneh Esrei with divine wisdom, and most of our prayers were authored by King David and others with ruach hakodesh. The tefillos they arranged for us are guaranteed to be appropriate and effective, in ways both revealed and hidden. Although we are encouraged to speak to God in our own words as well, we must appreciate the awesomeness of the endeavor and proceed with caution. Good intentions alone are not always sufficient, especially for those who should know better.
With this in mind, we need to rectify the prayer for Israel's security forces, which was written by Rabbi Shlomo Goren. This prayer is sacrosanct in the eyes of many, to the extent that when it is recited there is total silence. Even those who speak to their fellow during the reading of the Torah and other parts of the service – a severe violation of halacha – do not dare treat this prayer with disregard. The social consequences alone would strike the fear of God in them.
However, the prayer contains a serious flaw, a dangerous flaw. The main sentiments expressed – that we pray for the wellbeing of our soldiers and victory over our enemies – are most appropriate. However, there is a critical line that must be amended: "ובכל אשר יפנו יצליחו", “and in all they turn they should be successful”.
This line gives a blank check to Israel's soldiers, and tragically that has proven to be a mistake. Our soldiers and other security forces are sometimes used against their own people. They have destroyed Jewish communities, persecuted some of our finest brothers and sisters for political reasons, and demonstrated coldness and cruelty toward those they are commanded to protect and love. While I take great pride in our soldiers, and I believe the IDF is a holy institution, we cannot pray for them to have success in all that they set out to do. We cannot give them a blank check.
I pray for the IDF to utterly vanquish our enemies without suffering a single casualty, as it was in Biblical times. However, when the IDF is being deployed for self-destructive purposes by corrupt or severely misguided leaders, I cannot pray for their success. I do not wish harm on soldiers, but I want their mission to fail. Let their equipment stop working. Let them catch cold and be forced to call in sick. Let them refuse immoral orders. Ideally, let the evil decree be rescinded. Whatever the case may be, let these missions utterly fail.
When this prayer is being read, and the reader says “and in all they turn they should be successful”, I quietly add the line “only against our enemies”. It is my small way of recognizing that our security forces cannot be given a blank check, that our words have power, and that our prayers for their success must be qualified with this in mind. It is entirely plausible that the countless prayers for the IDF to be successful in all that they turn have unwittingly contributed to our own harm.
It may be painful for those who love Israel and the IDF to come to this realization, but the unfortunate reality makes it necessary for the prayer to be amended. When Rabbi Goren composed this prayer, he surely could not fathom that the security forces would one day destroy Jewish communities with their own hands and persecute some of our most valiant people. We hope that this situation is rectified immediately, even before the coming of Moshiach.
We pray for it as well. But when we do, let us choose our words wisely.
My updated prayer for the IDF is for the Jewish cannon fodder to wake up as gently as possible, and for the IDF to be disbanded and replaced with a true Jewish army, run entirely by God-fearing Jews under Torah law.
I apologize for ever referring to the IDF as a holy institution. I have written millions of words and this is one of the few mistakes I have made — by far the greatest.
Live and learn. There is no shame in realizing that one has been misled, largely through no fault of his own, and rectifying his mistake. The shame is refusing to learn, refusing to admit his mistake, and doubling down on his mistake for the sake of his ego, even if it kills him and his loved ones.
I don’t know about you, but I’d rather eat a little humble pie and rectify the mistake.

"This line gives a blank check to Israel's soldiers"
No it doesn't. It's a rather silly argument. Consider the phrase "בְּכָל מִשְׁלַח יָדֶךָ" which appears in many places as a ברכה and תפילה. Is that too a blank check? Of course not!
" The people of Israel benefited in no way from their "service". They were not killed in a milchemes mitzvah. They did not die al kiddush Hashem."
Leaving aside the question of whether the operation was a valid part of the מלחמה, the status of קדושים and קידוש השם is not dependent on מלחמת מצוה or whether or not we benefitted from their sacrifice. This issue has already been dealt with in the wake of the Holocaust. צא ולמד!
