Wednesday, March 11, Thanksgiving tour
In the last few days, our country and the world have been transformed by the Hand of God.
Together, we will celebrate our good fortune to be alive at this time and in this very special place with the most appropriate tour.
The longest-living Jewish warrior today has agreed to meet with us at his home.
Ezra Yachin, at ninety-eight years old (עד 120), joined the Jewish underground ("Lehi") as a teenager and has not stopped fighting for the Jewish people to this very day, including on October 7.
He will share his experience and perspective as a witness to the miracle of Israel's survival,
After this historic honor, we shall continue to Hevron, the city of our Patriarchs and Matriarchs, founders of the Jewish Nation.
At their tombs, we will offer our thanks for the open miracles we are witnessing.
After the 1929 Arab massacre of the ancient Jewish community of Hevron, the Quarter was left in its ruins until liberated by the IDF in 1967. (It wasn't until 1981 that the first Jewish pioneers actually began the return to the Quarter)
Since then, dedicated Jews have slowly returned to and rebuilt trashed Jewish properties, including the ancient synagogues used by the Arabs as animal pens, and unearthing ancient Jewish archaeological sites.
Very recently, the Jewish community of Hebron announced the most successful and significant redemption of Jewish property since the return began.
Five consecutive houses and scores of pioneer Jews have just established a new neighborhood in Old Hebron.
This is a milestone to be celebrated.
Our group will be the first to visit this new neighborhood, guided by a leader of the community.
We will depart at 8 30 from the Inbal hotel and return approximately 5:00
We will have lunch (not included) in the "Settlers cafe" in Old Version(you may bring your own food)
220 shekels
