Heard From Someone in Tel Aviv

Human Stories

Iran, the U.S., Israel, War!

I’m writing this from a bomb shelter... which, for the past few days,

has basically been home.

I may make a video about that soon.

But for now, I want to share something else: an in-depth analysis

of a question I keep hearing from friends in the U.S.

Why did we go to war with Iran?

There’s a lot of confusion around this. The justifications haven’t been

clearly laid out, and many people don’t realize this moment may be

the climax of the last two years of war in Israel and part of a much

longer U.S./Iran story that stretches back decades.

One important note: I’m not telling you what to think. I’m not

endorsing or condemning the arguments. I’m laying them out

as clearly as I can, from the perspective of someone living

under falling rockets.

If you know someone trying to understand what’s happening,

feel free to pass it along.

Also, in my new (ish) web series "Through the Land" we made

an episode back in June that highlighted what first responders deal

with at these Iranian bomb sites. Well, with the same types of rockets

falling, I feel it's a good time to revisit this video. Take a look to get a

better understanding of how those on the front line save lives.

[Sorry if post unclear! On my iPad]
