Jewish Home News Announces Launch of ‘JHN Media’ Division
New initiative aims to bypass traditional cultural gatekeepers through music and audio production; debut track streams today
Jewish Home News today officially announced the formation of Jewish Home News Media, a new production arm dedicated to cultural content, music, and audio storytelling. While our primary mandate remains investigative reporting and news analysis, we recognize that the battle for public opinion is not fought solely with headlines. It is fought in the cultural sphere.
Why Now? The current media landscape is saturated with fleeting updates, but often lacks content that resonates on a deeper, cultural level. We identified a gap in the market for authentic, narrative-driven audio that reflects the reality of life in Israel and the Jewish world—without the filters of mainstream corporate labels.
Introducing: Megillah Guerrilla To execute this vision, JHN Media is partnering with the artist handle Megillah Guerrilla. This project will serve as the creative “front” for our musical releases, allowing us to explore themes of history, security, and identity through a diverse range of genres—from folk to electronic.
The First Release: ‘The Harvest Has Begun’ The division’s pilot track, released to coincide with Tu B’Shevat, is available immediately on all major streaming platforms. Titled “The Harvest Has Begun,” the track combines traditional motifs with modern production to mark the agricultural new year.
This launch represents the first step in building an independent media ecosystem that is self-sustaining and direct-to-consumer.
How to Listen: The track is streaming now under the artist name Megillah Guerrilla. Readers can listen via the player above or find it on Spotify and Apple Music. (click on picture below)
