When Moshe’s Arms were raised…..Am Yisrael Prevailed!

"Chur on one side and Aharon on the other, and when they lifted the arms of "Moshe" 'Israel would be stronger'” Parashas Beshalach 17: 10-13 :  Yehoshua did as Moshe told him to do, to battle Amalek […] “from here we learn that they acted according to the directive of the Shechinah” (Rashi)

Beshalach 17:14-16:  Hashem said to Moshe, “write this as a remembrance in the Book and recite it in the ears of Yehoshua, that I shall ‘surely’ erase the memory of Amalek from under the heavens […] Or Hachaim.

 
 

This is the interim stage that the Rabbi stated would occur before Moshiach ben David comes on the scene.

 "Moshe" was fighting the enemy of then 

And Moshe mby is fighting our enemy of today

And it is the same enemy, Amalek

But Hashem said HE would eliminate Amalek Himself (RDG)
