Rabbi Weissman: Conclusion to ........the Shidduch World

The Erev Rav Control the Shidduch World — Mega Conclusion

Please share this and hold the snakes accountable

The embedded video is a special program I did over a year ago in which I debunked the age gap theory and took a deeper look at the shady grifters behind NASI. It is also available on Rumble here.

By the way, why hasn’t NASI been credited with this “new” that borrows/steals their ideas, or even acknowledged? This is especially interesting considering that one of their officers, Rabbi Kalman Epstein, is involved, as we will see.

Why has there been total radio silence from NASI? Even their ads have stopped appearing.

Are the grifters at NASI behind this drive, but remaining in the shadows because too many people have a poor opinion of them, and their best chance is to rebrand their failed ideas under a new name?

One of the most well-known sources from Chazal about shidduchim is the Midrash from Bereishis Rabba 68:4 (and many other places). Here is a brief summary:

A Roman matron asked Rabbi Yose bar Chalafta what Hashem has been occupied with since the six days of creation. “He is sitting and making matches,” replied Rabbi Yose.

The matron was not impressed. “I can do that, too. I have many slaves and maidservants; in a short time I can match them.”

“If it is easy in your eyes,” said Rabbi Yose, “it is difficult before Hashem [metaphorically speaking] like the splitting of the sea.”

The matron proceeded to make a row of a thousand slaves and a row of a thousand maidservants, and matched them accordingly. The following morning this one’s head was bashed in, that one’s eye was gouged, and another’s leg was broken. “I don’t want this person,” they all said.

She sent for Rabbi Yose and said, “There is no god like your God. Your Torah is beautiful and praiseworthy. You have spoken well.”

The clear lesson is that even people with very similar backgrounds and lifestyles are not interchangeable parts, and cannot be carelessly matched up. It isn’t just a numbers game. It is Hashem’s holy work, and those who attempt to serve as His agents must do so with great care and humility.

The Erev Rav proponents of the age gap theory and “solution” seem to have drawn inspiration from the Roman matron. Page 6 of the Erev Rav age gap insert illustrates their view of the “Shidduch Market”:
