Maccabiah Games open in Jerusalem as global celebration of Jewish pride
Thousands of athletes from more than 30 countries gather in Jerusalem
Are these all Jewish attendees? If so, the Zionist mockery of scheduling this glorification of the body being held during one of the most sacred times of our Jewish Calendar, and a remembrance of the destruction of both the First and Second Beis HaMikdash is beyond understanding. Didnt the organizers realize what dates they picked? This event will run all over Israel thru July 13, Erev Rosh Hodesh Av, the beginning of the most historically painful period.
I say mockery because it was the refusal of God’s command on the 9th of Av to enter the Land of (Milk and Honey) Yisrael that caused the series of tragedies during this three week period.
Tisha B’Av vs Maccabiah. What is this “Pride” they signify?
We’ve seen other Pride events but they were abominations!
Maybe they really mean now they are “like all the nations” glorifying physical agility and sport?
Maybe this is their pride in settling and building up this glorious Land of Israel?
Now we have returned from Sinai to our homeland of Eretz Yisrael and to celebrate that we hold Maccabiah games ?
It all seems the mirror opposite of this fulfillment?
