The Chofetz Chaim's Prophetic Message
Plus Rav Wasserman's true stance on moving to Eretz Yisrael and mor
I highly recommend last week’s Hebrew edition of Toras Avigdor zt"l. Rav Avigdor Miller gave a personal account of the spiritual state of the Jewish people in Europe leading up to the Holocaust. It was far from the idyllic Jewish wonderland people imagine it to be.
Rav Miller convincingly observed how many of Hitler’s decrees were middah k’negged middah, and warned us that the same thing could easily happen in America. We are obligated to learn uncomfortable lessons that Hashem sends us, and not deny our ability to do so or excuse ourselves from this responsibility. Otherwise, we will have to learn these lessons again in harsher ways, God forbid.
Rav Miller also pointed out that those who blame European rabbis for the Holocaust for not encouraging everyone to move to Eretz Yisrael are severely misguided, to put it mildly. There was no way millions of Jews could have picked up and left Europe. The British and the Zionists who controlled immigration to Eretz Yisrael certainly weren’t opening the gates for them.
He also explains that those whose takeaway from the Holocaust is to build Holocaust museums, try to make the goyim feel guilty, and otherwise “fight antisemitism”, are in fact only bringing more of it upon us, while angering Hashem by failing to even recognize that there were spiritual causes which must be addressed.
Read the entire booklet here. It’s powerful and should be taken to heart by every Jew.
This brings us to part 43 of The Prophetic Teachings of Rav Elchonon Wasserman. We saw two sources about Rav Wasserman’s serious interest in bringing his yeshiva to Eretz Yisrael if possible. Contrary to the slander I have heard about Rav Wasserman, he was not against moving to Eretz Yisrael — only in collaborating with wicked kofrim at war with everything dear to us.
We also learned about a conversation between Rav Wasserman and the Chofetz Chaim years earlier, when the Chofetz Chaim foresaw the coming destruction of European Jewry, the fact that Jews in Eretz Yisrael would be spared, and, responding to concerns from Rav Wasserman about the Zionist rulership, gave a very reassuring prophetic message that we should keep in mind at all times.
As if that’s not enough, we also saw a statement from Rav Wasserman on those who engage in acts of terrorism against Arabs, and a letter from his son, Rav Simcha Wasserman’s son, in 1942 regarding the religious Zionists and their rabbis, which remains enlightening for present times.
The class is embedded above and on Rumble here.
I am not sure what to make of this:
Is this the Messiah ordaining the Messiah? Or is the savior from 770 now a god like that other savior?
Chabad as an institution gets more creepy and un-Jewish with each passing day.
No wonder they have so much money and influence, and sleazy world leaders have a love affair with them, while Jews who represent authentic Torah hardly have a voice anymore even in the Jewish press.
